Stopped in here on my way home and really had high hopes for this place. I’ve been looking for a good breakfast place for sometime now. I walked in went to the front checkout as it is cafeteria style, looked at the menu proceeded to ask if they were still serving breakfast they said yes, then I ordered the eggs Benedict was told they had none. This was around 11am. On the menu, it shows the potatoes being diced potatoes. This is not the case I ordered eggs and potatoes. I was never asked how I wanted my eggs cooked. I was never asked what type of potatoes I wanted, and I was never asked if I was dining in or if this was to go. The assumption was made that I was a to Go customer I received my drip coffee ,five minutes or more later, in a to go cup then an hour later received my two fried eggs(I prefer poached or over medium,hence ordering eggs Benedict)and extremely greasy hashbrowns (I prefer home style as depicted in the menu, and I assumed I was was getting as hashbrowns were not mentioned on the menu) in a to go container. When mentioned that I was planning on eating there, I still was not provided with salt, pepper, silverware, or hot sauce.. I had to ask for silverware and was proceeded to be handed plastic silverware. I am so disappointed. In addition, the cream I was given for my coffee had gone sour I did not ask for more coffee since it took over five minutes to get my first drip coffee to begin with. .I really was looking for a good place to have a Sunday morning breakfast the only day of the week I have available to go out for breakfast and have heard great things about this place. Unfortunately they did not live up to expectations. I’ll try again another day and see if things have changed, perhaps they have a new employee.

We stopped here for breakfast before our jet boat trip. So glad we did! The Eggs Benedict was amazing and the hashbrowns were homemade and crispy! We also had delicious lattes and bought canned cocktails for the boat. Service was quick and friendly. Jill brought out homemade turnovers after we finished and we all regretted not getting one to go. They were big and looked delicious. Will definitely stop here again and highly recommend it to anyone passing by!

This place is awesome. We came here for dinner before a river trip, and the food was great, the patrons and staff were friendly in a way that has been lost elsewhere. We came back for breakfast the next day and it was on par with the night before. I recommend the tri-tip sandwich, the ribeye steak, and their coffee is excellent.

What a great place! I am a very difficult customer, but the staff bent over backwards to accommodate my picky needs for dinner. I was so impressed that I went back for breakfast🙂… the caprese toast was to die for!

My family and I loved this place! They smoke all their own meats and their potato salad is to die for. I am gluten free and had an excellent tri-tip and melted cheese sandwhich. They have a good selection of wines and brews and the service is very friendly. We will definitely be back next time we come through White Bird.

Absolutely Love this establishment And Jill😀 We were in town for a couple of weeks and she made us feel like family from the moment we walked into check out the place. She was extremely informative about the area and everything 1906 had to offer. We had great sandwiches, sides, drinks coffee and also loved the special steak dinner prepared by the owner. I would highly recommend stopping in to see Jill and have her greet you with her amazing personality and authentic charm! We will be back for sure thank to her !!

Unforgettable Experience on the Snake River!
Hammer Down Excursions delivered one of the most incredible outdoor experiences we’ve ever had! From start to finish, everything was safe, professional, and a whole lot of fun. Homer and the Team were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The jet boat ride was a perfect mix of adrenaline and sightseeing, and the smallmouth bass fishing was incredible. It was nonstop action!
We saw a bald eagle, big horn sheep, learned some local history, and got soaked (in the best way possible)! If you're anywhere near Whitebird, Idaho, don’t miss this adventure. Can't recommend them highly enough. My son and I will definitely be back! Oh and don’t forget to order the rib-eye!
