A small town bar and restaurant. Very homey feeling. The waitress was very friendly. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. My wife had the cod. She was very pleased with it. I had the walleye. It was plentiful and very tasty. For fried fish it was not greasy at all.

Normally the food is great. I had gizzards last night which I love, but they tasted freezer burned.
just don't go on a Saturday night when they're crowded. Was delicious food but cold and took nearly an hour to get it. It was cooked to perfection, but somehow our waitress must've let it sit for at least 20 minutes before delivering it to our table.
Great atmosphere though and very friendly crowd. 58$ for cold food.

Good salad bar but anticipate a plate instead of shallow bowl and it's single trip not AYCE. Other salads available on the menu. Great chili Very quaint and appears they do events in a back hall. Nice history on the wall in the hallway. And the broccoli cheese bites are delicious.

A little disappointed this trip. Gizzards were a little tougher than usual. Friend ordered fish basket, and it was very minimal, and the pieces were size of a silver dollar. Almost like they were running out and gave him the bottom of bag. Took longer than usual to get food and they weren't overly busy.
