Went back to American tap after an awesome 5 star experience but this time I sat in a corner booth with a group of buddies. It was during the Bears and Packers game. The place was absolutely packed and there were several times where we wanted to put in food or order drinks, but our waiter would not come up to the table. it almost seems like she completely forgot about us because there was so much chaos happening, I end up having to request another tables waiter to get ours attention. I ended up requesting the manager after the second time because I was so pissed after not getting served for 30 to 40 minutes.
Eventually, our server came and started fulfilling our orders, but at that point the damage was done, I could tell our server was irritated with the night, she was short speaking to us and it was awkward for the table. I didn’t realize we were such a burden. I understand it’s a busy night but management needs to hire more people on those big game days because it stresses the employee and makes a horrible customer experience changing my review from 5 stars to 3

We came for the xtreme bingo and the funnel fries because they are amazing! It was an absolutely horrible experience due to there only being one server and cook on an EXTREMELY busy night. I DO not blame the server .... but come on plan better if you know there is going to be an event that draws more people in. Waiting almost 20 min to order drinks and another 30 to order our food. Then almost an hour for our food to come out. Again I DO not blame our waitress. We could see she was busy. management needs to do better or their customers and the staff.

The bouncer was a complete jag off and denied my id because in my photo I was wearing a hoodie and he claimed it was fake. But the photo on my id is the same one on my passport… terrible establishment with terrible employees and half the kids that ended up in there were underage.

The waitress was absolutely clueless, food took forever, other people who came in after us got their food before we did and then when it came time to pay our bills things really got wild. We had to figure out who owed on our own. Not a good experience sorry 😞

I truly have a great experience each time I am there the staff is great. The Wednesday wings are fire. And kareoke isn't bad either. Really enjoy it on Wednesday.
The talent here has really declined. This place used to be full of hot talent, but it doesn't feel the same anymore. On the bright side, the food is still fantastic!
Their steak sandwich is one of the best around. The rest of the menu very solid as well with great fries but the steak sandwich deserves a chef's kiss ??

Metal bingo is fun,the best Monday ever. I drive from Chicago heights. 1hour so you can definitely say it is not lame at!!! Scott Davidson has been providing the city of Chicago for 30 years of incredible Metal and Rock and roll. Come out and show some love and live alitte. Rebel Radio.

I will never step foot back in this bar. They serve minors and deny people of age. Upon walking in, the bartender (a woman with brown hair who refused to give me her name) demanded my ID. I cooperated and presented my valid ID. She then asked for a second form with a picture on it, and would not accept all of the credit cards I had on me with my name on it and stated my ID was fake. Meanwhile minors are sitting at the table being served right across from me as this was happening. American tap needs some alcohol/beverage handling training clearly.
