I was eager to try Briki Cafe, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and frustrating. Briki Cafe, this review is going to hurt me more than it hurts you. I feel compelled to share this feedback as an honest attempt to offer constructive criticism.
I visited with my children after an evening practice and we were the only table in the entire restaurant when we placed our simple order from the menu at 7:05 PM. Despite the emptiness of the dining room and the straightforward nature of the items ordered, our wait was excessive.
By 7:46 PM, nearly 40 minutes later, with still no sign of our main entrées, a gyros sandwich and fries from a Greek restaurant, I made the decision that we could not wait any longer and regrettably had to leave. This level of inefficiency, particularly when the restaurant was otherwise deserted, is baffling and unacceptable for any professional establishment. Were they butchering the cow, were they waiting for a delivery of French fries from Iowa, were they finishing a cigarette, did we inconvenience their personal phone call? Who knows?
Service and Quality Concerns
The 2 items that were brought to our table only amplified the overall sense of neglect:
• The Saganaki was oversaturated with oil and quite hard—it was nearly inedible and cold.
• The pita bread provided was noticeably stale, dry, and tough to chew, suggesting it had been opened and unsealed for days.
While the two younger staff members working the floor seemed pleasant, there was a clear absence of focused management or supervision. The operation lacked the consistency and efficiency expected of a professional establishment.
Ultimately, the core of a restaurant is efficient service and good food. The current focus on installing slot machines seems to confirm that the business has prioritized extra revenue streams because the dining experience itself is merely an afterthought. No matter how many lights outside or open signs, you cannot replace that food is the number one generator of a restaurant. My hope is that the ownership will address these fundamental issues of kitchen timing, food prep standards, and managerial presence to provide the quality food and service the community deserves. I’m still upset about this experience.

This was a placed we loved to go, but definitely won’t be going back after today. Service was terrible and the food wasn’t great. We waited at least a half hour or more for our food. Something has definitely changed here. Missing the original staff that used to be there.

Briki Social is the kind of place you stumble upon once and find yourself returning to again and again. This might be my new brunch spot on the weekends.

The Food:
Breakfast at Briki Social felt like it was crafted with thought and intention. The menu balances comfort and creativity perfectly. The ingredients are clearly top-notch, and you can taste the difference vs their competitors. Eggs were cooked with perfection, and you can tell how much pride ownership has in their quality.

Portion Sizes:
If you’ve ever left a trendy spot still hungry, rest assured, Briki Social is not one of those places. Portions here are generous, and a great spot to taste multiple items if your sharing around the table.

The Service:
There’s a real sense of hospitality here. The kind that makes you feel like a welcome guest rather than just another table. Natalia was super attentive, kept my coffee full, and didnt disappoint in her recommendations.

Will be back- often!

Worst experience. Came in around 5pm on Saturday with two friends. See a waiter on his cell and then went walked outside. He completely disregarded us. Empty dining room with one person at a booth. We waited but no one else came out. We were starving so we grabbed some menus & sat at a booth. A girl finally comes out then tells us she's the only waitress for the night but seemed nice. We went ahead & ordered three cups of chicken rice soup & one glass of wine. Soups come out first and they are cold & very salty. We couldn't eat it. Sent it back, paid for wine we got & left. Then we see a big party coming in! Poor them. Never going back. There's a Management issue here.

Everything was clean and bright. Waitstaff was cheerful and VERY efficient. The Hokiatiki (I hope I spelled that correctly!) salad was the BEST SALAD I have had in months! I will definitely be back!

My Gyro was tasty and just the right portion for lunch, especially with the side of hand cut fries. My carryout order was quickly prepared and freshly made. My server was friendly and helpful with the many diner items they have on their menu. I found the price to be very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food.

we were one of the first to arrive at 9:00 AM. Service was rather slow, not very attentive, even though it appeared our server only had 5 tables to serve. Ample portions of food. Huge pancakes. My companion has to ask for new toast since hers was cold.

My friends and I tried this place out today. We ordered and waited close to an hour only to get our food to go. We were told that a big catering order came in that pushed us behind. If that were the case why not have 1 cook work that order and the other do in house orders. We were also told that due to the inconvenience our bill would be reduced. It was not. Needless to say I don't recommend this place. There's others in the same area you can go to.

Walked out after appetizer. Served us with a dirty plate asked for new plate never brought one. Also Ordered Saganaki and they didn’t light it on fire when I asked about it being lite we were told we aren’t allowed to do that here. My husband ordered a Margarita no salt on the rim and a hair or something in the glass. We called the waiter over and he asked what is in our drink not an no apology. I’ll make you another one with salt on the rim that we asked him to make sure he did this rind. So they did give us a new drink and the Saganaki was good and the second drink was better than the first.
