Cilantro Taco Grill - Addison

I had heard good things about this chain so was excited to try it. Unfortunately my whole family and I got food poisoning. 🤢 Meat was pretty black but i figured maybe it just over cooked? We are all very sick.

Something changed. It used to be cilantro and the tacos were juicy and full of flavor. Maybe I had a bad batch, but I ordered the three taco dinner and it was dry not that great. We also ordered the taco salad And the Carne Asada pieces were smaller than the kibble my kitty cat eats.

Elote has gotten so bad it’s laughable. Quality of corn is as if someone microwaved a month old cob. Hard and rubbery. Ruined my whole meal

The food was tasty and they make their own tortillas. A fast food type small Mexican restaurant with a TV and cooler with drinks. There was a big menu and you have got to try the flan. Such a huge slice and it was delicious! I would definitely go back.

Tacos are tiny. Almost 4 bucks each. Nothing great. Price killed it for me.

Reminds me of what cilantro use to be when they first opened, sooooo good, great tasty perfect steak, my new spot for sure, hopefully they will add sopes

Shady on the meat, and salsa. The young cashier girl had me wait for 10 minutes taking orders after my food was just there waiting. Dont get the tortas all bread no meat. Beans were good but rice was hard. Sad to say cilantro was better and thats not saying much.

The burrito was delicious! The salsa was awesome! I really enjoyed my meal. Good service; very fast and convenient. Definitely would come back! I bought a bottle of their salsa it was so good! I love the lomo burrito! The Green Salsa is the OG BEST and the red salsa is hot, tasty, and amazing. I love spicy food; so the red salsa might be too hot for some people. I loved it though!

Don Javi taco grill is the only place I will eat tacos even before when it was cilantro, I have gone to other cilantros and the food is not as good as this location, apart the food the employees and cooks are always so friendly. Will recommend this location over and over again!!!
