Update - after talking with my husband, he thinks 1-2 stars for the al pastor meat, 2.5-3 stars overall because of the value. I'm leaning towards 2 stars because it was memorably the oldest/driest al pastor meat we've ever had. We live closeby and pass by this place 1-2x a week. Our family also orders tacos and burritos about once a week. Some reviews mentioned that it was the best tacos in Addison so we gave them a try. We ordered: Al pastor tacos Chicken tacos Al pastor burrito Prices weren't too bad for the portions with tacos for $2.50ish, and the burrito had pieces of avocado for under $10. However, the al pastor was the oldest and driest we've ever eaten in our lives, yikes. It was on the sweet side with large chunks of pineapple, but the pineapple was translucent, like a dark jelly, that we didn't recognize it as pineapple at first sight. We picked up during a weekday at lunchtime so it was disappointing to see such old al pastor being served at a popular time. There was a technology fee added to the bill (maybe for paying with credit card as we had placed our order via phone). Would not recommend.

I'm not sure if it's because of New years, but the food was not great. It was edible... that's it.It's been open for over 10 years, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just an off day due to the holiday's.And pro tip, don't use your chips for the salsa for the chilaquiles. Use fresh tortillas.

In my opinion, the truth is that the food needs more attention. I passed by with my wife and we ordered Milanese cakes and the truth is I didn't like them because they left them very dry and almost golden. I didn't like them and it's a good place. It's a matter of the owner paying attention to it. and it will be a better restaurant.

How is this place still open? Seriously, how many taco places does Addison really need? I ordered chicken tacos and paid the extra little money to not have cash on me. The chicken was shredded dry white meat without ANY flavor whatsoever, like they just took out of the oven after reheating it the 8th time and shredded it and put it on the tortilla. Other than a couple diced onion pieces and cilantro, that was it. My taco was a nasty, dried up pile of meat on a tortilla like nobody really cared how it tasted. It tasted bad. If the tacos aren't legit, no reason to try anything else over there. Failed at lunch. I was starving at the time, and that did not help these tacos taste any better. ugh.The people that give this place five stars....I have to wonder if you have lost all your taste buds in your old age, or.....???

My family brought me tacos & they actually traveled over an hour with them before I could enjoy them. I warmed them up & w/ the tortilla chips & 3 different salsas I felt like I was at the restaurant. It was the best part of my entire day! This restaurant makes delicious food that travels well!
