I asked for spicy chicken and they didn’t give me spicy. I asked for sweet tea and the tea was not sweet. why is it so hard for a new restaurant that just opened not too long ago to produce good food? And they expect customers to return to spend their hard-working money considering the economy we’re in right now! Make it make sense… don’t waste your time nor your money!!!

Ordered chicken sandwich with no pickles, fries and a Dr Pepper .. they gave it to me with pickles , so I let them know that I can’t have pickles so they “made another one” that taste like pickles!!!! …. And I got biscuits instead of my fries :) I I was not thinking to leave a review and just gave a friend call to ask to pay more attention or double check with customer that they got it right but after 10+ calls, they never answered :) not the first time I received my order wrong.

I want to start off by saying that we are very dissapointed by our visit to the Lake Street location. We arrived around 10:00 p.m. on November 5th 2024. Mind you the place was completely empty we were the only car in drive through and there were no customers inside. We were excited to get our chicken because we were craving it that night. We pull up to the speaker and give our order. I very specifically said two combos with fries and large drinks and then we ordered another with just the popcorn chicken. I also asked that they put three Ranch sauces inside the bag to which the response was "I can't give you three I can only give you two". So then I told them it doesn't matter if you have to charge me I want three . They give us our total which was almost $40 and when I pull up to the window they give me a large drink and a small drink. I clarify that we had ordered both large drinks and the lady at the window whose name is Miriam told me that she would have to charge me for two small drinks more apart from the fact that we had already paid to get us a large drink. She then suggests that we give her $2 cash in order to give us our large drink. I didn't want to make too much of the situation seeing is that we were hungry and ready to go home so I gave her the money. She asked us to pull ahead and wait for our order by the door. We did ask she had asked and waited for our food. It was my fault for not checking before pulling away that they had forgotten the price for my order. Once we got home and opened our bags we noticed the fries were missing from my order. We call the restaurant and let them know that they forgot our fries, and received no apology. All we could hear was Miriam talking down to whoever forgot to put the fries in. Then she asked me if I could go back and pick up the fries. I told her no that it was a little late now that we would go another day. I then asked her for next time to make sure that they're paying attention to the things that are being put into the bags. All I want to know is how a restaurant could be so cheap to count everything that you're charging for and not have the decency to make sure that everything is in the bag. Pinching pennies and not giving us everything that we ordered is infuriating. I have never been to such a cheap Popeyes before. I will no longer be ordering from this location and I will be ordering from Mount Prospect which always gets their orders right even though their lots are always packed and the lines are always out the door. And Miriam you can take your fries and stick them where the sun don't shine. Oh and my food was cold when I got home which is not that far from the restaurant.

Literally they close at 2am after 12am they dont take anymore orders unless its online ?. They should replace the staff or shut it down honestly.

First time at Popeyes. Burgers were good, chicken was crunchy & Cajun Chips were enjoyed by all of us.

Today on 9-18-24 the cashier of this popeyes is disrespectful and racist to customers! - first i ordered a meal that cost $10 dollars and i gave her a $20 bill she gave me .5 cents back when i corrected her error she yelled and slammed her hands on the counter insistingthat i gave her only $10 dollars. I had to call the cops to get my refund back bc of lack of response from the employees and her hostile attitude. I got my refund back and i will never buy from this location ever again and that employee needs to be fired for her conduct of behavior. That is not customer service. Popeyes lost a customer.

I was there today to grab a quick bite, I ordered the big box with double Mac-n-cheese. First they charge 50 cent extra per macaroni but then he told me they didn't have any spicy wings and only offered me a leg or a thigh! I paid for white if you don't have the wings then 2 breasts would have surficed since I paid more for white meat! What about let down, I'm tired of being taken advantage of by places like this.
