Food was delicious. Well balanced and tasty. Service did not meet my expectations, though. The gentleman that served my family and I needs to analysis how interacts with guests, during and, especially, after a dinner. His ungrateful, inconsiderate attitude that he displayed, as he approached my family and I in the parking lot, was disgusting. Provide a better service and you will earn a better tip. Until then, be grateful you received something rather than nothing.

This is an absolute favorite. I have moved 6 hours away to Iowa and every time I visit Home I crave a date night at favorite restaurants and this is a first choice. Thank you for a beautiful evening with amazing food/drinks and service. The food drinks and service is so authentic and genuine. The taste is unbelievably amazing. And might I add I have brought my children and totally feel comfortable and enjoy a time here with my children here! But of course the mojitos feel great without them on a date night :) best mojitos !!!!

Rio’s is such a gem! The place is beautiful, the food is seriously delicious, and the vibe is just perfect for kicking back and enjoying your time. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back — couldn’t ask for a better spot to eat and relax.

We've been to this RIO's restaurant in Addison, IL several times over the years, and it never disappoints. Whether for a casual dinner or a special occasion, the food is always delicious and authentic.
Tony, has been running the place for many years, and his experience shows in both the quality of the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. You can tell he takes pride in what he does.
This is easily one of the best restaurants in the area—highly recommended!

Nope...first & last time lol. But, if you have low expectations in life and don't mind reheated food packed with sodium just go for it!
Update: I received a call from the manager after his team noticed my review. He profusely apologized for the situation and offered to make it right. He said that he did not receive the messages I left with the staff and that he’d look into why that happened. I really appreciated that he took the time to call he seemed to genuinely care about making things right. Since we’ve previously had really good experiences there, we’ll give things another chance. Will update my review again soon!
This used to be one of our favorites! We went there for my husband’s birthday last week and unfortunately, we both ended up quite ill, my husband especially was very, very sick. I tried calling multiple times to speak with a manager to report this but he was never available to talk, so I sent two emails to follow up. I also left my phone number to have the manager call me back. I have not received any response as of today, so I think our time at Rio’s has come to an end.
