Great place for lunch. Fairly inexpensive and large portions. We enjoyed the shrimp fajitas and the combo fajitas. I also enjoyed the guacamole and salsa.

Let me tell you, I for one was shocked. I'm very resistant to going to Mexican Food outside the SW. It's typically terrible. This place was quite good. The prices were incredibly cheap. The salsa was built for a Midwestern palate (lol) so ask for the spicy salsa. Chips good. Margaritas were $15 for a large pitcher of tasty deliciousness that hit perfectly on that hot afternoon. I got the Taste of Mexico taco plate. 4 different meats, all quite well done. My dining partners were also very satisfied with the big portions and taste.

I get my lunch from here, to go, a few times per month. It's always good. I love the Pico, because it taste like it's made with fresh home grown tomatoes and onions.

My husband and I were very impressed with the food quality and pricing for this restaurant. Normally if the prices are low the quality and service are the best, but not the case here. Adults meals were around $10 and kids less than $5. And everything we tried was delicious. The servers were wonderful too. I would go back here again if we were ever in the area.
Kid-friendliness: The kids meals were under $5 with a soda for kids under 10. My kids had hamburgers and chicken nuggets and ate everything.

El Cactus was recommended to us by a lovely local woman after I asked if there was a place in Albion my husband and I could grab a cocktail. We had parked our car in preparation for the eclipse, and didn't want to move it, so the walkable distance to El Cactus was perfect. This authentic restaurant is bright and open inside with nice seating options on the patio. Great for groups. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the chips and salsa are very good. My husband ordered a couple Coronas, and I had a large margarita which was very delicious and totally hit the spot. Had it not been for the eclipse, I could easily have stayed and had more! Albion is a wonderful small town with awesome people, and I can only imagine how this spot will add to that.

Had an early dinner here after the eclipse on 4/8. Everything about our meal was exceptional. Service was great, prices were fair (especially considering the incredible sizes) and the food itself was amazing. I will be thinking about the Molcajete Cactus that o enjoyed for a long time!
