Let me tell you, I for one was shocked. I'm very resistant to going to Mexican Food outside the SW. It's typically terrible. This place was quite good. The prices were incredibly cheap. The salsa was built for a Midwestern palate (lol) so ask for the spicy salsa. Chips good. Margaritas were $15 for a large pitcher of tasty deliciousness that hit perfectly on that hot afternoon. My husband and I were very impressed with the food quality and pricing for this restaurant. Normally if the prices are low the quality and service are the best, but not the case here. Adults meals were around $10 and kids less than $5. And everything we tried was delicious. The servers were wonderful too. I would go back here again if we were ever in the area.

El Cactus was recommended to us by a lovely local woman after I asked if there was a place in Albion my husband and I could grab a cocktail. We had parked our car in preparation for the eclipse, and didn't want to move it, so the walkable distance to El Cactus was perfect.
