The food is good, but nothing different than any other Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and quaint. Service needs much improvement. Our waiter tonight was a young man. He brought the chips and salsa took our drink order.... more than 10 minutes later he brought our drinks. Never stopped again at our table. We asked repeatedly for to go boxes. He gave us the wrong check and when we went to pay he argued. I explained that he gave us the wrong check and his response was "who's paying". I told him what we had ordered and when I asked to see our bill he tossed it across the counter. Needless to say we won't be back.

The food here is amazing, the atmosphere was nice and friendly. But, when i was eating here with my mother for dinner, the service was something less than desireable. We had barely anyone walk up to us to see if we needed refills on our drinks, nobody asked how everything was, and when we finished eating and ordered dessrt, nobody came to take our dinner plates away. They need to work on there service capabilities

Was in for Rhubarb Fest and our friends who are local highly recommended Tobala. Despite doing during peak hours of Rhubarb Fest, we were seated quickly and service was excellent. If you are in Aledo and are looking for quality Mexican food, Tobala is the place to go! The food was spectacular as well as the margaritas. Definitely going to come back!
