Come here a lot but never took the time to review, gyros are amazing, always fresh, hot, juicy, and very good quality meat, best you can get around and a very good price compared to Pop's or Nicky's, very good and courteous service, clean area, definitely gives off a very down to earth, local atmosphere, which makes me appreciate it even more

This place is the LOCAL HOT SPOT! With a menu that includes some great comfort food like burgers, fries, gyros, greek chicken, italian beef sandwiches, chicago dogs and more...there is something tasty for everyone! The food comes out hot & delicious! The service is great. They are so friendly and welcoming to their customers. If you want food done right, THIS IS the place to come. The Greek chicken was so tasty and filled with flavor. The burgers are tall with all the fixings. I was deeply impressed with the food at this hidden gem on 127th Street.
I was in the area attending a conference. One of my co-workers and I wanted to grab lunch during one of our breaks. She had been to this restaurant before and said it was good, so we decided to try it again. The inside has some pretty cool decor with old advertisement signs. We went there both days of our conference. The first day, I ordered the chicken club pita sandwich. It was really good. The chicken was flavorful and the pita bread in place of traditional bread was an interesting choice. It really enhanced the meal. The fries were crispy, salty, and fatty. The next day, I ordered the BLT panini. This was much lighter than the order I had the previous day. The ingredients seemed pretty fresh and the lettuce was super crisp and not wilted at all. The owner was very nice and personable. You can tell he really cares about his customers just by the way he greeted some of his regulars and remembered us when we went there a second day. I recommend this restaurant for a quick, delicious meal if you are in the area.

We’ve lived in the area for some time and just recently tried Athens for the first time. The only thing I’m upset about is that we haven’t been eating here for years!The food is always on point, and the service is prompt and pleasant. The Greek chicken dinner is amazing and the portions are huge! We’ve tried lots of stuff on the menu, including the Chili-Mac (which is fantastic) and the “cheesy cream of chicken rice” soup that is an excellent little twist on their normal cream of chicken rice soup (which is also fabulous by the way). The Italian beef is better than any of the “big” named places, and is flavorful and tender. The gravy is very well seasoned, but not so much that it becomes “spicy” like one of the well known places.Get the beef sandwich, right now…go ahead, I’ll be waiting right here!They also offer catering, which we used for our 4th of July party that we hosted yesterday. The amount of food was unreal! No one went home hungry and there were leftovers for those that wanted them. Mike even went out of his way to open on a Sunday to do the catering for us!TRY THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW!!!!
