I want to start by saying that the products are great. It’s a clean place. The ice cream cakes, blizzards and the ice cream bars are delicious. But the elderly lady at the counter is always angry and rude. She kinda ruined the fun experience of rewarding my kids with a sweet treat.

Arrived at the Dairy Queen in Alsip at 1:18 pm on Friday, August 1st. Went to purchase a Birthday cake. Website stated that is open at 1:00 pm. When I arrived at 1:18 the open sign was not on and the door was locked. Knocked on the door and I looked inside and saw a young male employee near the front register. He saw me and walked away like he did not want to be noticed. Baskin Robbins received my order for the Birthday cake. Another example of customer service breakdown in today's society.

Hi, I wanted to share some feedback from my recent visits. There’s an older woman working at the front who often comes across as unfriendly and unapproachable. She rarely greets customers and tends to be very curt, which makes the environment feel uncomfortable especially when you’re just trying to enjoy a treat or take a moment to decide what to order. I say this with respect, but it’s been consistent enough that it impacts the overall experience. Just wanted to bring it to your attention as a loyal customer who loves your products and wants to continue coming back.

The lady that works there and answers your phone is so rude. I wouldn’t eat here if the world went in a drought and this was the only food establishment left people like her need to work at the DMV or the aid office people don’t play with their food.

Came in at around 2pm today(9/16), the female employee with short hair did not greet us or speak to us aside from the price of our order. we asked for extra toppings, she charged us for it but didn't give extra. Overall she was extremely rude. I came another day last week, the young girl with glasses and semi short light brown hair perfectly made our order in a timely matter. She should be the example for all employees for how to make Dairy Queen products. She gave us our ice cream with a smile and I could thoroughly enjoy the food. The African American Male taking our order was extremely nice as well, he greeted us and read back our order making sure everything was correct.

was sitting down waiting to order because there was a few people ahead of us in line at the counter that didn’t even order yet and the old lady with the short hair was really snotty to me and my girlfriend saying “are you guys gonna order or what” and gave us a nasty look and so did the old man as soon as walked in the door and that’s not the first time i come to this dairy queen all the time because it’s the closest one to me and everytime ive been here the lady with short hair has always had an attitude with all her customers and i’ve seen one of the teenagers who works there has no gloves on and rubs her hand through her hair before and after making ice cream i will continue to go here for my ice cream just because its so close but if you have a closer dairy queen than this one please go this is the worst service i’ve ever seen

They forgot my graham cracker base in my blizzard and the lady with the short haircut argued with me they didn’t. Was very rude in her tone. They could’ve easily added it after I came back but did not i left unsatisfied won’t be back at this location.

Older white lady with short hair was rude. I wanted to know the size of the ice cream I was ordering. This lady was so rude and says the ONE THAT SAYS BLIZZARD. While a young girl and a young boy, employees laugh. Absolutely unnecessary to raise her voice and be this disrespectful. Will not be coming back! Get better employees.
