This is a family place. Love the atmosphere great food. It has great taste plus the salsa chips are outstanding. The beef is seasoned right. With the salsa is the best.

Food was decent. Chips were slightly different but I have to say I liked the previous chips better or maybe it was just different that day? The temperature was slightly cold inside the restaurant; I also kinda didn't enjoy smelling Fabulouso (or highly scented cleaner) as I'm eating my meal. I know cleaning is critical during busy dining hours but there's an opportunity when the dinner wave is slightly slower, which it was 20 mins after we already finished our meal. Food just didn't appeal to me as well as it used to. Seems like a different line cook but just an assumption. No hate just always room for improvement ?

I did take out …… My husband had the chicken tacos, he stated that they were delicious, I had a steak gordita without beans, and they put beans on it, and my meat didn’t have much flavor. I also didn’t like the steak they used. I go back but I’ll try another menu item. That was my only con.
I used to LOVE their Bistec ala Mexicana tacos. I would travel for them, by far the best I had ever eaten. Then about 3 months ago, I drove out just for the tacos and I was shocked at how bad they were. They went from flavorful, juicy and delicious to bland, dry and terrible. I was devastated but thought, "Hmm, maybe they're having an off night - it happens." I went today and it's official - they lost it. ? The entire meal was poor quality and even poorer taste. It was a plate of awful. I even tried their new pollo al pastor and wished I hadn't. It had a strange smell to it and I'm really hoping I don't get sick later. The tomato on my tacos was skinned off pieces. The steak in my steak taco was a weird mixture of ground beef and something else. The rice was mushy and beans had no taste. And the saddest part of all was the bistec- dry, no tomato and no flavor. I am sad about this. They had to have gotten new cooks or owners because the quality of their food is so bad now and it used to be so good! They went from 5 stars to 1 star from me and I won't be back. ? What happened El Gallo, you broke my heart ???

Fast courteous service.. I have done Dine in & Take out. Always excellent.! Weekends are very busy take out. Their phone was busy, so I just went there for take out. Service was fast, food great, plenty of room avail for dine in.

Parking: I’ve been going there since i was 11 years old with my mama: The same three waitresses our still there. They make you free like you at home. They know my order still and when my mama passed away i came in after taking her ashes back to the Dominican Republic. I had been in there probably 3 maybe 4 years and she still remember me asked about my mom and told me that my order was on the house for all the support my mama gave them over the years. I’ll keep coming here until they shut it down.
