Brisket was delicious rib tips was okay they were a little tough hard exterior good seasoning I've had better cornbread delicious brisket baked beans I didn't like that much

I’m so happy I found this barbecue spot in my neighborhood. I think I’m here at least two times a month. The staff is very nice and food is always good. My favorites are the rib tips and the battered onion rings. I’m hoping to plan an event that they can cater.

Ate here for the first time yesterday. Had the pulled pork sandwich with the pickle chips. The customer service was friendly and welcoming and the service was fast and the food was great.

The food was amazing. The only problem I had was that the cornbread was cold. Upon returning it, I was told that all of them was the same temperature but I guess so since it was sliced. The cashier was so nice and knew the menu and the place was clean.

Place this very overpriced and the ribs are very mid. Their mac and cheese is weird and had red pepper in it. The brisket tastes like pot roast and doesn’t have any smoke flavor. I love bbq but I don’t really like their style, the best thing here is actually their burger with all the bacon and cheese on it. I wish they had more of a smokey wood flavor but it’s a let down. you gotta do to the south to get that. I miss the Peg leg Porker in Nashville.

I ordered two meats with one side and there are so many choices, I chose double cut rib tips which were all meat, pulled pork, and chose Cajun fries, and a piece of cornbread. Everything was top notch, clean, friendly staff, prices are great for the amount of food you get. I fully recommend if you love BBQ.

Okay experience. The tables were a bit sticky, could have used a quick wipe down. Our table by the window had a couple of ants. Ordered a half slab, the rib meat wasn’t tender for my liking and the fries tasted like the ones you get from a hot dog stand. Also, they don’t sell corn on the cob as a side, but that’s just me.

Not gonna lie I haven't been here yet, BUT! I drive past every night for work and tonight you could smell that delicious smokey brisket smell all the way from 123rd & pulaski. absolutely mouth watering. 10/10 best free smells.

Tables were a bit sticky—definitely could use a regular wipe-down throughout the day. I ordered the 3-meat platter (chicken, beef brisket, and rib tips) with garlic fries. The chicken was excellent—super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Fries were also great.

Unfortunately, the beef brisket was cold when it arrived, and the mac and cheese was on the watery side. The spicy BBQ sauce, though, was a standout—really tasty. I also wish there was an option to swap out the cornbread for toast.

I’d still come back just for the chicken and fries alone.

I see so many mixed reviews here. My experience was just 06/17/25; I had been wanting to try the Alsip location. I never go right away when a new restaurant opens, I let them get the “kinks” worked out first. Alsip has been open for quite sometime; and I just had my 1st visit 06/17/25. I was greeted immediately ✅; ordered my food as a carry out; very pleasant staff✅; ordered 1 meat, 1 side; when I got home, and ate my food; it was DELICIOUS ✅😋. I had pulled pork, and the mac & cheese. I’ll be back again

Loved the rib tips, mac, cornbread and sauces! The pulled pork was perfect and i loved all the free pickles and onions. The sausage and chicken were good but a little dry. Waited about 25 mins for our order but they seemed to have a ton of to-go orders. Can't wait to try more.

We hadn't been in yet and now wonder why - awesome food! We decided to get 2 of the Pick 3 Meats meals so we could try a lot of them. We got the brisket, ribs, rib tips, chicken, pulled pork, and jalapeno cheddar brat. Everything was delicious, and this might be the first place around that hasn't served me dry chicken. The brisket and ribs were lean, not a ton of nasty fat on them, and we had trouble deciding what our favorites were. We got the brisket baked beans and mac n cheese for sides, both delicious as well. They also give you a large piece of tasty cornbread with each meal. Come hungry because they don't skimp on the portions! We'll definitely be back!
