Went on Saturday, they ran out of fries but I still placed my order and once I received my order the chicken was half done, cold and the fries were burnt. First time and last time.

Great jamaican/American restaurant. The best part is they don't serve/cook beef or pork, just seafood and chicken. When I order protein for my meal I am always worried about contamination from beef to chicken handling.

How do you not have available menu for people to order takeout?!?!! Had to watch the tv that kept changing. Gave me a headache so I walked out! Also because the people behind the counter were unhelpful and rude!

I visited Jerk 48 because of all the hype on IG and I wanted to support Early but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. 2 of the wings had long feathers sticking out of them, they were dried out as if they may have been old, they were very dark and it wasn’t from the jerk seasoning because we couldn’t taste seasoning on the chicken. The rice bowl hardly had chicken in it, the beans were hard as if they needed to be cooked, the bowl was juicy but not with jerk sauce more like water which made the rice soggy, that could’ve been because the bowls are already made up so there’s no telling how long it had been sitting and the bowl had zero flavor. The only thing I did like was the jerk eggroll. The stools to sit in while waiting are very small, and hard as heck, look like baby high chairs that you would get for your child at a restaurant, but I guess that’s ok because it didn’t take long for the order to be prepared therefore I didn’t need to sit. The menu is overpriced, and so not worth the money spent.The young lady that took my order is very knowledgeable about the menu and have good customer service skills.

Nasty as heck, do not eat here. The chicken is tasteless and all the sides are poorly made. The only good thing is the complimentary bread...second time here because i wanted to be sure the food isn't terrible but it is. Smh $50 down the drain.

Overpriced! This was my second time eating at this establishment. The first time wasn’t good either, I ordered the bowl and it was bland. So, I decided to give them some time and tried it a second time and order 1/2 dark dinner and the only thing that tasted like something was the Mac n cheese. The rice was like a soup, cabbage was brown and overcooked, and the chicken was overcooked and dry. NEVER AGAIN!
The 1/2 white jerk chicken is very savory!!! Delicious!!! The staff is very friend. I would come back after my third times..

Disappointing. Seen a shout out on WGN. They announced they were offering meals 75% off for the community. Well, for $ 4 you get 2 wings, and about 12 little fries. There is no way they normally sell 2 wings & barely any fries for 16 bucks. Then we paid 16 bucks for a veggie platter that was rice/beans & 2 sides. The rice was barely enough for 2 people, and the sides where hardly enough for 1. Although it was decent tasting, not for 16 bucks. Maybe for $9 bucks. Seems more like they did this to draw people in. If you stop in you'll figure it out.

I ordered the salmon dinner and the food is too salty especially the cabbage, the salmon was ok could have been juicer, the red beans and rice was good, but the crust in the mac and cheese is burnt and when I asked to get it replaced they gave me a serving of mac and cheese with no crust because the cashier said all of it was burnt; no cheese pull at all. It is not worth the price for jerk that does not taste like authentic Jamaican food. Second time going and each time disappointed; will not be back to this location.

They bogus for that Kraft Mac n cheese . How you a jerk chicken restaurant and you serving Kraft???? Stovetop Mac? I mean my stovetop Mac taste better. Then they threw parsley on it. I’m fudging done. The yams prolly was the best thing on the plate .
