I was not impressed with this restaurant. When we arrived several employees were standing around the counter. One employee was on her cell phone and two others engaging in conversation. There was also a full plate of food sitting on the counter near the employee who was on her cell phone. My guest and I were not acknowledged. We left the restaurant without being served.
Food is good but they shrunk it by like 70 percent always used to get my burgers there and there the same size as mcds burgers just more flavor all bun over taxed. I legit cudda ate same price at mcds more food and less bun very disappointed

I just had to try some Chicago barbecue before I left town and have to say Nick's BBQ is off the chain.

During the week I was able to stop by Nick's BBQ for lunch. It was my first time here and I went with the half slab of ribs and sides meal. These ribs were outstanding! A great bark on these ribs and a lot of meat. You could literally slide the bones out of the the meat. The meat was tender and juicy with a super flavorful sauce. The French fries were fresh cut and great. Also came with a side of garlic bread. I am a big eater and I had trouble finishing all of this food. All around great meal and fantastic ribs.

I've had their BBQ quite a few times and enjoyed it. Today I thought to take a break and try something else so I got the Italian combo (beef/sausage) wrong choice. If you love beef like I do you may want to avoid Nick's. It was dry, tasteless and actually sliced wrong making it also tough, very hard to chew. Ended up spending $10+ only to throw away a very good portion of it...stick with the burgers and bbq here
Favorite place! So glad it moved down the street. Cream of chicken soup is excellent. Everything is quality and served hot.

Thank you so much, Nick's Barbecue, for putting the Impossible Burger on your menu!! I am Vegan and greatly appreciate when restaurants are considerate enough to include plant-based options!!

We spent 60 dollars onlynto get wrong food ordered and just not good. 1 item was amazing the chicken bacon avocado wrap is so good. When u order a chicken gyro a certain way and get a regular with the pita so torn u can't hold it and not even made correctly. When u order 5 piece something u expect the 5 pieces. U also expect the food to be fully cooked not cold in the center. We won't be coming back to this location. So disappointed. If u have new staff u need to let go. Would of never had that at tinley or burbank
