Been here a few times now and got their sushi lunch special. Decent sushi at decent price. It's a small carry out with 2 booths. Not intentionally for dine in. They're always friendly and nice. Which is why I'll keep coming back. I liked that the lunch special comes with a big container of soy sauce and miso soup. As a matter of fact, I might stop by for some sushi today ?

They keep your sushi out on a delivery rack so when you get it home its all nice and warm and been sitting out. Who doesn't like eating warm/hot Philly rolls. lol gross. should keep take out orders in a fridgerator. no quality control

The quality of food & taste (lack there of) has gone downhill since the previous owners sold. Too bad because this was always good. Gave it one more chance for our dinner the other night & the sushi was awful. One of the rolls had no taste at all & the volcano roll had a very fishy taste to it. Nothing about the food tasted fresh. So unfortunate we won’t be ordering from here again
Food was delicious. It was delivered by Uber eats and it got here warm. The food did not have that weird old taste that some sushi places have. Definitely tasted fresh. Worth the money for sure.

This place surprised me. The food was excellent, but it has hibachi in the name...not sure why. It looks like a regular fast food restaurant with seating. Nothing fancy or formal.

I am not an internet reviewer. I don’t have the time. buy I must be nuts, for after reading others reviews, I felt this would have been great. OMG! I fault myself for falling into the reviews for a Mall Chain of Sushi, ie; Orland Sq. & Chicago Rdg. First of all, this place is filthy. Dirt and scum on the floors and gathering in the corners of the floor boards. Dirty atmosphere. Secondly, I ordered kind of sushi and Japanese food, ”No Brainers”: Godzilla Roll, Crab Rangoon and Steam Dumplings. The Godzilla Roll was the greasiest, fishy smelling and visually unappealing sushi, I have ever eaten. Thirdly, even the the Crab Rangoon, was so greasy, heavily wrapped and slightly filled, it sadly wasn’t even worth my effort to find the bit of crab. Fourth, the Steamed Dumplings, for the calories contained, they were completely taste -less, that I could have eaten my napkin with more flavor. Since eating a bit of all three, I have had indigestion and …. Don’ t get lazy people. 151st and Lagrange,”Fuji House” and “MO’s Chinese Kitchen on 159TH is SUPERIOR, FRESH AND WORTH YOUR MONEY. This place is overall Disgusting!,

Wow wow wow I eat sushi a lot and even though never actually tasted real Japanese sushi I've tasted a lot. This place is... I don't want to say hands down the best I've tasted... But around here I've definitely spent a lot of money on sushi and at the end felt like I should've had a burger. This is my first time ordering here and they 100% delivered. Food quality and taste is amazing. I literally called back after having my 2 pieces of salmon nigiri and thanked them. Don't know if how it's going to go later since I'm a new customer but I'm most definitely going back again to make sure this was as worth it as it is right. I will recommended if this experience is repeated. For now 5 stars

Sakura Japanese Express offers a great menu of sushi and hibachi options items. My favorite is the Steak Hibachi, including the hibachi noodle. The food is always super delicious and the staff are always very polite and kind. I wish there was more sitting options at this location but they really make it work for the space they have. This is definitely a go-to option if you're in the general area and want to place an order for pick up and delivery.
Parking: There's a limited number of parking spots for each business. Sometimes the parking lot can be congested.
Kid-friendliness: They are very kind to all their patrons.
