Hey This was my second visit at this spot my first time was amazing got great service and great quality food . I had a long day I decided to go and stop there again today and place a $25 dollar order I was never greeted as I walk to counter the cashier look at me twice and continue to be on the phone as I didn’t exist standing there so she finally looks at me a third time and steps up to the cash register as I place my order I told her in the simplest form possibly about my steak tacos and my order got all the stuff I did not want on it . So I called them and ask if they can replace and give some type of compensation for the inconvenience but nothing was over for a win win situation for the customers very very horrible experience I’m a manger for over 10! Years never felt like this today smh gota do better !!!!!

Surprisingly for a hidden taco joint in a gas station, it’s great. I’ve had the tacos, burritos, and torta. The el pastor burrito is delicious! Their burrito tortilla is not like those thin stretchy flour tortillas, it’s great for burritos. The steak, lengua, and el pastor tacos are good too! The carnita taco is okay, not the best but it’s good. The torta is one of my go to’s. It can be a bit pricy but I think it’s worth it if you have the money to spend lol.

Every time I go there, they are closed. It’s like they make up the hours as they go. Don’t get me wrong though, the tacos and elotes are spectacular! Anytime I have a craving for tacos, Ta Canijo is the only place that can fulfill my craving. It’s very flavorful. They are a bit pricey compared to other taco places.

10/10 amazing food I had two tripe tacos and my wife had one of each flavor of tamale the food at this establishment has no business being this delicious given the fact that it is located inside of a gas station. Will definitely come back.

The only good thing about my dinner was the beans and fries! I was craving Al Pastor tacos all day and I was so disappointed! What I got was 3 tiny burned dried tacos and some dry rice! I will be making the drive to Chicago tomorrow to get me some good pastor tacos!

Girl who is there mostly in the mornings has a bad attitude for someone who can’t speak English the best and has an accent. So disappointed in Sauk Village and Alsip locations never coming to those again I think Elwood is the best one with food and service. Definitely recommend taking the drive to the Elwood location if I am in Chicago area during my truck stops.
