So we didn't actually go into Joe's Pizza & Pasta, and dinner last night was the first time we have had their food so I really couldn't judge on their atmosphere because we had it delivered. We are truck drivers, and we were parked at the truck stop next to the McDonald's. we saw Joe's, and my husband ordered food, and they delivered straight to our truck, which was awesome. The food was aAmazing!! Yes, it was, oh sweet Jesus, was it. We got the BBQ wings, which were A MAZING! loved their's version of BBQ. Coming from the south, I could tell right off it was sweeten ketchup. But that's OK, it was perfect for those large wings. We don't get that in the south. My husband ordered 24 thinking they were the baby wings, well we have left overs. He ordered me the Chicago-style pizza. AMAZING every bite had the ingredients I asked for!!! My husband got the lasagna, he said it was really good and the meatballs were plentiful. Breadsticks were tender and perfect. My husband's meal came with a salad (he gave to me) FRESH! It didn't come out of a bag it was for sure cut up iceberg lettuce. The slice of cucumber was from a cut cucumber. I know some would thing I lost my mind saying this: Of course, it came from a cucumber or a head of lettuce. No, the ingredients didn't come from a bag processed in a plant. This was an actual head of lettuce they cut up and an actual cucumber they cut up. When you know you know. So anyways they use fresh ingredients which is hard to find now days and I thank you. All together, our meal cost us $109, I believe, and we will be getting 4 meals out of it. The proportions were amazing!! Thank you for such a great meal that most truck drivers do not get on the road.
Traveling through on I-70 and their menu was in the hotel room. We ordered a small cheese pizza and fried pickles for carry out. The fried pickles are legit!! They were cut as medallions, not too greasy, and the breading didn't fall off! Yum! Staff was friendly, food was hot, good, and prepared quickly.

While traveling, I stopped here for some dinner, and I was in a bit of a hurry. The waitress was so kind and I was served quickly in every way, and got my delicious pasta dish within 10 minutes. Very friendly staff highly recommended!

We love Altamont Joe's. Chris has amazing customer service and he always comes over to say hi. The servers are quick & friendly. The restaurant is always clean. Food is always good. I got lucky and stopped after seeing their sign on the highway whilst passing through. I was delighted to find Chicago stuffed pizza to go in less than 20 minutes. Classic and tasty and extra large with mushrooms, ricotta, and extra sauce was only $28. It was huge and would easily feed 4 stoned adults. Creamy ricotta and mushrooms in a pie style crust, with sauce and parmigiana on top. If you're in less of f a rush take advantage of the ample dining room and kind accommodating table service. This seems to be their primary offering as they struggled to find disposable dishes or cutlery, and most other patrons were seated at tables. I highly recommend .
