It looks like a wonderful Vineyard is starting to go really downhill. We went there tonight to see a band and to have dinner and their kitchen is closed. They only have one person working behind the bar clearly overwhelmed. Then I go to the bathroom and two out of the three stalls have no toilet paper in them. We saw a wonderful band there and the weather was great but the overall experience was really a big drop down from what previous experiences have been there. It's one thing to be shorthanded but it seems like there's got to be something that can be done.

The view was nice.
Drove an hour just to go here to get food and was told that the kitchen was closed at lunch. I know staffing issues can’t be helped, but nothing was posted on the Facebook page to warn people that don’t live close. The girl that assisted us was nice though and referred us to a different winery that had food.
Nice winery experience with an excellent view of the valley from the patio. Live music was great fun. The only drag is Von Jakob doesn't have food anymore. A clerk said they stopped serving food. A bummer because even hamburgers would make it a lot more fun. You need something to soak up the alcohol! But otherwise a very nice winery.
This is always one of our favorite stops when going down south!! It's always has fantastic music and great pulled pork nachos and pizza! ❤️ We were super bummed when we went on 8/23/25 to hear the Ethan Stephenson Band and the kitchen was closed down!! The place could use some sprucing up! I sure hope they turn it around. We've have great memories from here and I'd hate to hear they closed. 😢
Nice place great food excellent service with the staff and that’s were it stops ponytail manager was the rudest most unprofessional individual that I and my group have had the displeasure of meeting! Would recommend to everyone, but neither myself nor the group of 10 that were with me will be returning.
Amazingly delicious wine and whiskey. We lucked into finding this on our drive, it was great!
Beer was delicious. Wine is not their strong point. Service on Sunday at noon is lacking big. Good thing their beer is good.
No food.
Band ended at 8.

VERY nice staff. Sadly, if you're looking for good German food, it's not here. The spatzele was really salty. Same with the fries. The flammkuchen was just okay. The beer was good though.
Excellent food and service
Great beer and wines, tasting area was wonderful.
Dan was amazing, great customer service and conversation. Really good wine tasting, and the 8 year bourbon was delish. Enjoyed our Flammkuchen and they have best deep fried mushrooms ever! And the cheesecake gelato was SO good!
Best German food hands down! Wine is always a favorite and the owners are friendly and respectful
