I lived in Anna Illinois for about 15 years and had Pizza Villa often. I live near the Boston Massachusetts area now. There has to be 300 plus Mom and Pop Pizza shops around and they all basically taste the same with, maybe, their own small tweak to flavor. Pizza Villa in Anna Illinois is the best, most original Pizza I've ever had. Everything from their own crust recipe to the sweet sauce that they use constantly has me wanting to travel 1200 miles just to get a slice, a memory really. No one else like them.

This place had the best Italian Beef I have ever had...... it was amazing.... the pizza was very good also..... the atmosphere when you walk in the door makes you feel like you would feel if you walked in to you childhood hangout..... very laid back.... stress free.... welcoming and friendly vibes......I was impressed with everything about this place... . Sauce is sweet, rich and slightly spicy on a thinner hand tossed crust. My favorite is the edge pieces that have a crunchy edge.

Visit here every other Thursday with a group of six. There is great seating, and the pizza is always cooked fresh! The wait staff are nice and very patient with us. Love my visits here. Best pizza in town! Love the new location!!!! Very nice, clean establishment.
