I lived in Anna Illinois for about 15 years and had Pizza Villa often. I live near the Boston Massachusetts area now. There has to be 300 plus Mom and Pop Pizza shops around and they all basically taste the same with, maybe, their own small tweak to flavor. Pizza Villa in Anna Illinois is the best, most original Pizza I've ever had. Everything from their own crust recipe to the sweet sauce that they use constantly has me wanting to travel 1200 miles just to get a slice, a memory really. No one else like them.

This place had the best Italian Beef I have ever had...... it was amazing.... the pizza was very good also..... the atmosphere when you walk in the door makes you feel like you would feel if you walked in to you childhood hangout..... very laid back.... stress free.... welcoming and friendly vibes......I was impressed with everything about this place... . The staff and the food!!!

Local small town pizza done well!
Sauce is sweet, rich and slightly spicy on a thinner hand tossed crust. My favorite is the edge pieces that have a crunchy edge.
When not in the mood for pizza - The Zesty Chef Calzone is my go to choice, followed by the Zesty Chef and the Chefs choice sandwiches.

Visit here every other Thursday with a group of six. There is great seating, and the pizza is always cooked fresh! The wait staff are nice and very patient with us. Love my visits here. Best pizza in town! Love the new location!!!! Very nice, clean establishment.

Upon approaching the building it's well decorated and very clean with handicap parking by the front door the parking lot is gravel so Be aware if you have mobility issues. Upon entering the building, which I have several times, one notices a Rustic atmosphere and whether the place is busy or not it's always clean. Depending upon the time of day The establishment has either table service or self service for your drinks. The menu is somewhat limited, but the dishes they have are well rounded for a pizza establishment. I chose on more than one occasion the chicken Alfredo.-the portion sizes very Depending upon the day but are always adequate. The chicken Alfredo had chunks of chicken a very good Alfredo sauce which I enjoyed very much. The dish is served with two breadsticks. Tonight we had the villa pizza and I was a little surprised with it there was plenty of toppings but it was really bland and one could taste the crust and mushrooms and green peppers separate from one another for some reason the flavors just didn't blend so I was not impressed with the pizza. I'm anxious to try some of the other menu items. The establishment takes credit/debit cards but there is a 4% upcharge. Tips are another matter. Apparently any tips provided via debit or credit card go to the house and do not get disbursed among the employees. The tip jar on the counter apparently is distributed among the kitchen staff and only cash tips left on the tables go to the servers. Keep this in mind when you visit so that your server is compensated properly.
