This little restaurant is amazing. The home cooking is m-m-m-m! The service was wonderful. My coffee was refilled regularly. And the cost was reasonable. Love the purple Onion!

(aug 2025 update - unknowingly had the same meal w/apple pie - still great!)

Had the homemade tenderloin, french fries and a strawberry rhubarb pie for desert. The food tasted excellent; tenderloin was just the right thickness with a crispy tasty crust; fries were crispy and flavorful; the pie was served warm with your choice of whipped topping -or- ice cream.

Highly recommended.

Cute little diner just off I-80 & Route 78. Hours are breakfast/lunch times which worked out great for us. We enjoyed the pork tenderloins & had the cheeseburger (chowder) soup, I believe that’s what she said. Pepsi products. We were full but seen quite a few slices of pie being served.

Older family owned/operated. Fresh food not fast food. Older building very quaint, and clean. Server was great, food was hot and made fresh not Sysco...

Initially, this restaurant seemed like a charming hometown eatery, but our experience quickly soured. The 4-strip meal I ordered came with French fries and a salad bar. Regrettably, the chicken strips were underwhelming, lacking meat and overcooked. Both the French fries and salad bar were also subpar. My son's bacon cheeseburger was diminutive and excessively greasy, comparable to a fast-food burger. It came with chips, which he appreciated. I chose the special fish sandwich, but couldn't identify the fish or its origin. Although crispy, my French fries were again inedible. The Starry drink I ordered had an unusual taste, which I initially thought was exaggerated by my child. However, upon trying it, I concurred. The water tasted similarly, suggesting an issue with the filters. Our waitress provided poor service, neglecting to greet us or demonstrate basic courtesy. With my background in customer service and food establishment management, I recognize the importance of a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short. The total bill for our unsatisfactory meals was nearly $32.00, which I found excessive. I will not return nor recommend this establishment to others.
