Like last week, we got take out and we had deep fried catfish and the covered wagon potato. Everything was delicious, including the sweet biscuits and the peach/blueberry pie!

Foods good wait staffs ok, preparation time is poor. Room for improvement in the dinning experience. But the view is 5 star.

We stopped here for lunch on Saturday, August 10, 2019 during a camping trip at Johnson Sauk. It's a family-style restaurant with a warm, comfortable atmosphere and good food. The view of the lake is also very nice. My daughter had the beer-battered chicken and I had a burger with fries - both of which were very good. The menu isn't huge, but there's a decent selection. Don't expect fast food, as it does take some time for them to prepare the food and they don't seem to have a lot of help. Still, the lady who waited on us was very pleasant and attentive. My daughter and I shared a delicious piece of strawberry shortcake after lunch and it was refreshing! We would definitely come back again, and I think we would try a piece of pie next time!NOTE: They don't seem to have fountain pop, but they do have cans of both Pepsi and Coke products.

Awesome food! The view of the lake is fantastic! Great place to relax and enjoy a good meal! But save room for a piece of her homemade pie!
