We stopped here for lunch on Saturday, August 10, 2019 during a camping trip at Johnson Sauk. It's a family-style restaurant with a warm, comfortable atmosphere and good food. The view of the lake is also very nice. My daughter had the beer-battered chicken and I had a burger with fries - both of which were very good. The menu isn't huge, but there's a decent selection. The food and service were both good. Perhaps not the most updated place to eat, but it was good for a change! Some in our group had fish, one had chicken, and I had the pulled pork.
Food was good but service is very slow. Long wait time. No one acknowledges you when you come in. Wasn't clear if you wait to be seated or seat yourself, waited to ask staff, they looked at us but never interacted so we seated ourselves.
