I loved this place and a few times a year I'd come from Chicago to eat here. It was well worth the drive. I guess part of the building collapsed on the far corner of the building. They will be missed.
A real hidden gem in the middle of Amish country. It serves Cuban/Floridian foods such as grouper sandwiches, gumbo, seafood quiche, crab cakes and Key Lime pie. They also serve burgers, German potato soup, and German flourless cakes for those who aren't as adventurous. Everything we ordered was exquisite. The burger was juicy, the gumbo was perfect, the grouper sandwich was excellent and the quiche was wow. All reasonably priced for the quality. Easily the best restaurant...
The food here is wonderful. We ordered the special, chicken schnitzel with braised cabbage and new potatoes. We had the Key Lime Pie to go. Every item was delicious. Please note they are open limited hours and days and they do not take plastic.
