We stopped by after coming from our trip to U of I—couldn’t be happier with the food and exceptional service offered. We sat outside with full view of the sunset and river.

First time to The Pier, came out with 20 people.
Weather was perfect so we sat outside.
Menu is creative, everybody liked their food, and the waitress was terrific (and patient).

The patio is breezy. Parts of it are covered. It looks out on the river which is interrupted by the parking for the venue. That's unfortunate, especially since there was a parks department truck with a flat tire parked right in front in the view of the river as well.
Food was great. Came out fast. Friendly funny waitress.
