It took awhile to get service but that's expected when the place is so packed there was only one table open when we got there. That alone tells you how good the place is tbh. The food was good and the prices aren't too bad.

The kid was verry nice but we stood there watching him struggle to make a milk shake. This place has all kids working in it, didnt see an adult.

Max Family Diner has been opened a year. In that time, most of the waiters have learned nothing! Today for breakfast, I waited over 15 minutes before the waiter even noticed me; I sat with the same 5 people I generally sit with. I got my coffee but it was 15 minutes before the group that joined me got theirs. I had to actually get up and get our silverware and had to ask someone to wait on us. After I ate, I was still hungry and asked for a full order of biscuits and graveyard. I specifically asked that it be hot! Of course it wasn't hot! I have repeatedly sent back cold b & g. If it wasn't that I enjoyed the customers so, I wouldn't go back!

I am obsessed with their grilled chicken BLT's. I have one at least twice a week. Their seasoned fries are delicious with their ranch, i believe it's homemade. I've also tried their omelets and they are a great choice for breakfast! It is on Vine st so sometimes it can be difficult finding a parking space depending on time and what day of the week it is.

This is my favorite place to eat in Arthur. Their Saturday lasagna special is so good. The bestvai have ever had. The breakfast is really good too.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they have a kids menu. They have coloring pages for kids.

The service and food was great when they opened but has gone through the floor . The food was burnt and cold the servers brought one plate at a time to each table . Not one person at the table got their food within five minutes of each other. When I asked the staff for the rest of my food I was told they were doing the best they can. If the food and service was the best they got I have no need to ever go back . Again the PANCAKES were cold and burnt the biscuit and gravy was cold and stale biscuits. Not a good experience at all . Oh and when I complained my food was cold they took my drink off the bill.

The food is good but the service is absolute garbage. The teenage girl they have up front is horrible. She ignored me when I walked in and didn't say a thing to me. I waited a few minutes up at the counter right next to her and she didn't say a word. I had to tell her I wanted to place a to go order. When I proceeded to tell her I wanted the # 10 skillet, she looked at me very confused and said I don't know what that is, I haven't worked here that long. I then had to grab a menu just to show her what it was. Then whenever I came back 15 minutes later to get my food she didn't even check me out. I had to sit there and tell her hey I still need to pay. I could have walked out of there without paying so easily because of her neglect of the counter. Let's just say I did not leave a happy customer.

I'm a little surprised even one person likes this restaurant I wanted to like it so much because I really like supporting our locally owned businesses but money is too tight these days and I will not spend another dime in this restaurant we got breakfast everything was horrible the toast wasn't even Brown the eggs were from a box the hash browns didn't look cooked the soda was flat and the service was horrible every time I wanted something I had to get up and get it myselfI even had to put the dirty dishes on the bar not to mention they couldn't speak English the waitress could but like I said we only saw her one time when she took our order but she sure walked past us a lot and I'll be the first one to publicly say it it's disgusting
