Great food and amazing service. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I went for lunch with my wife and twin 4 years olds. And for any of you that don't have kids, much less twins, let me tell you visiting a restaurant is always a crapshoot. Will they behave, will they eat, will they force us to flee in shame... anyways the staff was friendly, helpful, and understanding. On hand with fresh silverware before I could even ask, when my done dropped his on the floor. When one of the staff overheard my conversation with my son explaining that they don't serve eggs here, and hearing the disappointment my son expressed they spoke with the cook and he offered to make him some scrambled eggs. The only thing better then their open friendly and helpful staff, is their food! I had their special of half a BBQ chicken and two sides for 12 dollars and I ate every bite! They also serve amazing homemade deserts! If you are anywhere near Arthur Illinois stop by, you won't regret it!!!!

Amazing food and environment. We had ribs, brisket, chicken, and pulled pork. All the different meats were so tender and tasty. The price was fabulous, you can bit that place. We’ll definitely return when we visit Arthur’s town next time. We were in Decatur and was like 30 min drive, so worth it.
Best ribs I have had anywhere, ever! BBQ sauce is one of a kind. Sweet tea tastes great. Staff is very friendly. Pulled pork is also best I've had. Great place to eat!

I cannot eat pork, and I’m aware that that’s their specialty. However, there are only a few places to eat in Arthur, so I ordered one of the only items in the menu that won’t make me ill. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was completely gross. Tough, dry low quality chicken that I couldn’t bring myself to swallow because I couldn’t even chew it u past a tangled string ball of chicken meat. My dog got an $11.00 chewy snack and I went hungry . It was also served completely plain. A piece of chicken leather in a bun was what I got. I rarely treat myself to dining out because it is so expensive and you never know if you’re going to get something nice or a carelessly prepared dumpster meal. When I let them know they said they would write a note to the manager. I’m never going back there. I’m pretty sure that grade of chicken is for crockpot recipes where you cook it all day for it to be edible ? . I’m only posting it here because they don’t even attempt to care.
