The cardiologist gave me a good report today. Hence, it was time to celebrate with some comfort food.I headed down to Assumption to see Tom and Lynn Zuber at.DJs.on Chestnut. The special today was chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy and buttered corn. Amazing!After dinner, I had Tom's house-made Java chip ice cream. Delicious!. They had a bourbon and bacon flavored one which seemed interesting, but...I went with the sure thingSee ya next time Assumption!Cheers!

Went there on a Friday night and got right in. Waitress was very polite & the service was quick. My whole family enjoyed their entrees. Everything tasted fresh & like it was made with quality ingredients. Small but diverse selection of local beers on draft. Building is a beautifully restored 100+ year old general store with local history on display. We will come back!
