Great place along the Fox. A back patio on a nice day, a cozy bar when it’s cold and a wonderful entertainment stage with performances.

Admittedly we haven’t been here in a while but they have redone the space to support events and the dining room is now extremely awkward with a small bar, odd setup and very quiet atmosphere that seems to cater to an elderly crowd. We will not be back.

Excellent food. My family went to Ireland last year for a vacation. Ballydoyle put out the same vibes/atmosphere as in Dublin. Great service.

Ballydoyle's is one of our favorites when we visit Aurora. I usually get the Reuben but this trip I tried the adult grilled cheese and it was amazing! So big I had to take my leftovers home! Everyone at my table raved about their fries!

Went at lunch time on a Friday in August and plenty of street parking right in front of building (free 90 minute limit). Food was very good. Not many people there at lunch time so just one person working but he managed just fine. Fair prices.

Parking in downtown Aurora is always a hassle, but we came in for First Friday and decided to give this spot a try. It took a while to get seated since many tables weren’t cleared or cleaned yet. I ordered the chicken pot pie, which came in a bread bowl—a nice twist I actually enjoyed! However, the potatoes tasted grainy and unwashed, and I noticed the filling portion was smaller than it used to be before they started serving it in the bread bowl. Still, the meal was hearty and filling. My 3-year-old had the butter noodles and loved them, and her French fry portion was impressively large! My friend ordered a burger medium, but it came out overcooked with no pink in the middle and hard edges. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

Poor service and horrible beer. I ordered a brew dog hazy IPA and the waitress brought me some kind of red ale which is clearly not a hazy IPA. See attachment for what the beer should look like and what they brought me. Waitress does nothing to remediate the situation. Never seen such a poorly run business. Staff have bad attitudes and beer was definitely not right. Maybe it was spoiled or they substituted a cheaper product. Do not go here.
Great Food & Great Music. Staff are very friendly & attentive

I came back yesterday for the first time since hosting my wedding rehearsal dinner there last July. The food and service are always great. The parmesan crusted chicken meal is my favorite dish & I love the Irish potato chips!

A step into Ireland when entering this restaurant. Excellent decorations and woodwork, giving the feel of being in Ireland. Staff is very personable and enjoyed the meal before our show at the Paramount Theater. My wife enjoyed the corn beef and cabbage, and I enjoyed a bean burger with a side salad. Of course, Guinness was part of the meal. A tasty pour, I might add. Limited vegan options, but I made it work. We will go back. Walking distance to the theater and plenty of parking either street or parking garages.
