Truly authentic Kerala-style food with rich flavors and traditional preparation. Every dish tastes homemade and reminds you of Kerala. Highly recommended for anyone craving South Indian comfort food!

Ordered for takeaway, chilli chicken, pepper mushroom apps and chicken biryani.
I order around 8pm on the Sunday before Memorial Day, for a meetup along with few friends. This was my first time. I do have experience with such dishes in other Naperville area restaurants.
The person was very nice. But the food quality was very bad. Quantity was very less compared to what I get for same price in other restaurants. Chicken pieces in chilli chicken were chewy and hard. We had to throw it away. Chicken biryani was like as if they served two drumsticks 🍗 with a bowl of white buttered rice. I won’t even call it biryani.

All in all, it was a total waste of our ~$100+. I don’t think I will go there again.

This amazing Indian restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was delicious and wonderfully prepared. I had a fish dish and my husband had goat. We loved it! The owners talked to us and were very welcoming and kind . They explained the preparation of the dishes and the culture. This is a must try! It is located in a strip mall on Butterfield Rd just east of Farnsworth in North Aurora

While the atmosphere is quiet, I feel this place is lacking the business it should have.

The food was great, as was the staff, they made us feel welcome and ensured the spice levels were to our liking. The Dal and Egg Curry were flavorful, I loved the level of seasoning on the mushrooms and Chilly Chicken which also had a mild sweetness. The Kerala Parottas we had were steaming hot when they hit the table, and the Grilled Paneer was also very good.

Will definitely be going here more in the future to try more of the menu.

I recently dined at Black Pepper Lounge, and while there were some positives, a few areas left me wanting more.

Pros:
- Ambience: The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with a cozy and inviting decor that makes for a pleasant dining experience.
- Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe.
- Parking: Plenty of parking was available, making it convenient to visit without any hassle.

Cons:
- Food Authenticity: As someone familiar with Kerala cuisine, I found the food to be lacking in authenticity. It didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of traditional flavors.
- Price vs. Quality: The dishes were quite pricey considering the quality and quantity. The value for money just wasn’t there.
- Taste: Most items were average in taste, with nothing standing out.
- Seasoning: Many dishes were under-seasoned, with both salt and spice levels missing the punch that Kerala cuisine is known for.

Overall, while the ambience and service were solid, the food didn’t live up to expectations, especially for the price.

We have had breakfast there a few times. The Masala dosa are very good, while their meat dishes are not so much. This could be due to my own taste for these things.

We drove all the way from Plainfield for lunch and we were denied service because they were fully booked and they will not entertain take out as well. If you could mention that in the website or in your Google profile the customers would know. Next time use the technology well while you have it. We will not return here ever.

My Husband and I adore this restaraunt. It really is a must-try for the area, and the first restaraunt we like to take visiting family and friends. We Have dined here many, many times, both in person and through delivery.

The Food is consistently fantastic and every time we try a new menu item its always been a wonderful surprise. It's a little different to what you would normally think when you think "indian food" but with all the beautiful breads and authentic Kerala cuisine to choose from... This place really changed my entire perspective on indian food and helped further deepen my understanding and apreciation of indian cuisine as a whole.

Truly do yourself a favor and give the food here a try, then maybe you will understand why this place is too good NOT to share with everyone you know!
