The Boriken overall has tasty food. However I was a little disappointed in that the order I placed was made incorrectly. I ordered 3 bistec jibarito dinners with arroz con gandules and salad. I left home and live 30 minutes away from Boriken. When I arrived home I discovered that I was incorrectly given 3 jibaritos dinners de pernil. I was really disappointed because it was not worth going all the way back to the restaurant to address this issue. If you order to go make sure and check your food before you go home. I know of some people who cannot eat pernil for certain reasons as I'm aware that there may be others as well.

Every Monday my husband goes for hay and brings me my favorite food: rice with pigeon peas, pernil and potato salad. For dessert, my cheese flan 😋 seasoning was too rich. I have been going to a different restaurant to get jibaritos and decided to try something new when our local place closed early one day. I am so happy to have found this hidden gem! It's so authentic! The food was delicious and I will be coming back here in the future. We had jibaritos con biztec, arroz con gondules, y empanadas. Everything was so delicious. The pricing was very reasonable. I can't wait to come back!!

Fantastic food. Anyone near Aurora should try at least once. Don't let the fact that it's attached to a gas station stop you the food is delicious. Pork and Puerto Rican rice plate is amazing.
