Foods good, not overly flavored or spicy. Cooked/prepared well. Prices reasonable. Masks not being worn, plexi still at register. Quick service, turnaround. Needs a vegan/vegetarian option. Neighborhood restaurant, so always take out. 4 stars because of no vegetarian items and lacking some flavor.
I’ve known Jesus and his sister, the owners, for over 20 years and have eaten at all three locations. Last week I had lunch with a couple of friends at the Alsip location after being absent for awhile. I again ordered the most difficult recipe to master, Chicken Mole. OMG! They nailed it! The best Mole I’ve ever tasted. These people never disappoint. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Menudo, Posole, Fajaitas, Burritos, my favorite is beef tongue, or anything else you may desire...
