Our server Christopher was a delight and very friendly and that’s the only positive thing there is to say about this place besides a great atmosphere. Other than that, the young girl who was making our latte seemed to have a horrible and stuck up attitude, that or that’s just her personality which is not good at all for someone working customer service. The date and time is 09/24/24 around the 11 o’clock hour.

Came here for breakfast and ordered the Ugandan Rolex along with a creme brulee latte. Whilst eating my Rolex I discovered a piece of ham in my Rolex. I ordered the regular Rolex - without meat. Being a person who does not eat pork due to religious reasons, this was quite upsetting. I informed the server who brought me another Rolex. When I went to pay I was not even offered any compensation for them putting pork (along with the pork juices) in my food. I will most certainly not be back.

They also did not have any waffle batter which I found to be quite unusual for a breakfast restaurant at 11AM on a Saturday.

Local. Sustainable. Enjoyable. I love the Chai tea here but also enjoy the soup and sandwich options. Cozy atmosphere where I tend to linger for a while because it's so enjoyable. ? Best coffee house in Aurora.

Normally I order online and get delivery but yesterday I decided to come in. Walking in no one greets you. There is a whole vibe of ignoring the customers that are walking in and it makes you feel odd to even be there in the first place. the only good thing about this place is their coffee. So skip the personal experience and just order online.

Rad coffee shop. Great tasting coffee in a really cool spot along the river/bike path. Food is pretty good and reasonably priced.

I had the pleasure of having a super tasty breakfast at Endiro Coffee. The place is beautifully decorated. It’s very inviting and has a really nice view. The food was delicious and the plating was IG perfect. I was seated right away and the food was prepared in record time. I will definitely be recommending this place.

Vegetarian options: The avocado toast is so tasty.

Parking: Plenty of street parking with a time limit of 90 minutes. Enough time to have some food and go for a walk afterwards.

Kid-friendliness: Nice food and drink options for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps entering this place making it wheelchair accessible.

Let me preface this review by stating that I have lived in Uganda and been to two or three of the Endiro locations there.

Honestly, this visit to the cafe was a solid 3 or 3.5 stars. However, I know that ratings are important on Google and I really do love the Endiro company and mission. It was just the experience at the Aurora Cafe that left a lot to be desired.

The location is easy to find and has plenty of parking. It's on the river but unfortunately the outdoor seating wasn't available (I believe due to construction or a repair project). Staff weren't cheerful but were polite and service was quick.

The food though... ?

If you are hoping for an authentic Ugandan rolex, this is not the place to find it. The one served to me was made with a flour tortilla which is nothing like the chapati I expected. Having made chapati and rolexes, I know they are easy and inexpensive to make. The tortillas felt like a low effort replacement that, in my opinion, ruins the point of a rolex. If you want to use tortillas, just call it a burrito inspired by the rolex. I would be happy to pay $7 for an actual rolex but the price felt way too much for a tortilla and egg.

The muchomo chicken was dry and overcooked. And the African Tea didn't have the flavor that it should have.

I did enjoy the cafe decor and chuckled when I saw the downstairs bathroom wall plastered in, what looked like, NRM / yellow political flyers.
