First and last time coming to this place. It didn't look like you had a dine-in option so you have to order from the staff from behind this dingy barrier, and probably for good reason. The older lady that takes your order has a NASTY attitude. She’s very condescending. It almost feels like she’s purposefully trying to frustrate or anger people to get them to go away. Someone else mentioned that if you ask her questions she acts like you’re inconveniencing her, very accurate. One lady got so mad she cancelled her order right on the spot and walked out. It was probably what we should have done because the tenders I ordered were dry and unseasoned. Don’t waste your money, they don’t seem to want it anyway.

Each time I've ordered food from here the Husband and Wife always had an attitude. Don't you dare ask so a little more mild sauce they will really get upset. You want to support them but not with that attitude. If you all who are A BLACK COUPLE don't want to serve other Black Americans sell something else so we know NOT to support your business. We are our own worst

Don’t bother wasting your money, time or energy at this establishment. Customer service is beyond pathetic they make you feels as if you’re inconveniencing them by simply choosing to exist in the presence of their restaurant… and how dare you come into a restaurant and ask for food. Oh and def don't any ask questions. Wings are always dry and small and honestly taste re fried. Truth be told they hate anyone that has the same skin tone as them but if your of the opposite skin tone I’ve seen them just short of tap dancing when they come in. The wife treated a fire fighter in uniform either getting off or going on shift like he was the scum of the earth when he ordered and asked a question.

The lady with the mustache and little bob at the register is very rude & nasty I’ll never spend another dime with them .customer service is top priority & that is something they lack tremendously 0/10
I went for a sense of nostalgia. The Harold's on the Southside was great. This was unseasoned chicken. I added seasoning and it was just eh. Season salt the chicken before the breading. If I couldn't cook it would be great.

Service is terrible the man that takes payment is very rude and he wouldn't let me pay because they require an physical ID to buy food from here and the place is very dirty and not clean and they close the blinds while they are Making your food which is very uncomfortable to eat and when I asked why he got very upset and kept repeating get the dog out of here and the dog was a stuffed dog withou6 any explanation
Called in to order my food they forgot my order, had to wait another 15+ minutes for the lady to still have an attitude that they forgot MY

My first-ever visit to a Harold's. The inside of restaurant looked like s currency exchange. So atmosphere isn't what you come for. But it is carry-out only. Had a 20 min. wait for my meal, which I don't mind if the food is good. But this is definitely not fast food. In the future I'd probably call-in my order before I picked it up. But the good news is that the chicken was excellent. Hot, crispy & juicy. The fries that come with your dinner are kinda limp, but the flavor id good. Also get cole slaw, which is an extremely small portion. Was very good though. On my next visit may try the okra. If good frued chicken is your main reason for coming, I'd recommend giving it a try!

Food is excellent service sucks they have no hospitaliano when it comes to customer service they're not friendly no thank yous I have not been there in a long time and probably won't go back for a long time. They used to have chairs so you can sit in and wait for your food they took all their chairs out you can't sit in there they don't want you to talk you can't lean on anything I mean the atmosphere in there is terrible
