If you want a good buffet pick Saturday night. They keep up on the hot food. Any other day is okay.

Sorry to say but this is one of the worst Chinese buffets I have ever gone to, considering price and food options. No one collects used plates or refill drinks. Limited options of food and many of them were not well cooked, and this is compared to the other similar Chinese buffets in the Chicago area. Will never come again.update: add 1 star since at least I didn't get stomach ache in the next half day

This is not gourmet dining, but today I put down 2 bowls of hot and sour followed by 6 plates of very decent Chinese favorites plus sushi. For the price I was very satisfied.

My husband and I went back and forth on whether or not to come in due to mixed reviews... if you're doing the same let me help: do not.The service was good, but everything else was awful. The place was dirty, everything was sticky, and the food was disgusting. Most of it was cold and the flavor was just off. Never again.

Food selections are not bad, since they raise price (reasonably) better lighting will make place looks better.

Abysmal, absolutely abysmal, overpriced for poor quality food, the fried chicken and egg rolls were too hard to even bite into, and everything was as bland as eating lumps of concrete. Never again,

The food was disgusting and most of whatever was left was it wasn’t worth eating. Our waitresses was amazing and very attentive, which was the only good part about this place.

(Would give 3.5 if it werent for Google Review System.)Short explanation/TLDR: Go here if you’re looking for an extremely cheap priced and mediocre OK buffet (12.90 before tax per person). Quality of food is OK, with some items much better than others. Just try and see what you like!Food 7/10, price 9/10, location 8/10, service 10/10I went to HGB in the afternoon, Friday September 22. There were plenty of people but a lot of seats open. There was plenty of parking as well. For some input, I am a local here in Aurora and we barely have any buffets. The reviews to this place really put me off on going here, and I usually go to the far off buffets like Golden Buffet; however, going here was a delightful experience. I will say though: people going here, temper your expectations, as HGB is a hit or miss depending on what you like to eat. Some items are good while some items you may not like.Going into the buffet, I came in knowing that the prices were lowered to around 12.90, and I had to pay $14.00 after tax.I had two plates in total. My first plate had the primarily meat items, including fried chicken, beef skewers, some salt and pepper fried beef/pork. I also had sushi. My second plate consisted of the crab meat covered in cheese, a bowl of one of the soups, and some pork. The meat was the best part of both plates. While I did dislike the salt and pepper pork, the beef skewers, the fried chicken, and the fried pork tasted great. The sushi, on the other hand, tasted icky - it tasted like sushi, but it was too cold in my opinion. The crab meat tasted great too. The soup was okay, but I wouldn’t eat a lot of it.I also tried some of the American items like french fries. Not worth eating in my opinion as they didn’t have much flavor.I ignored the dessert items as none really piqued my interest. There was jello, some fudge, fruits covered in sauce, etcetera.Bathrooms were clean and not dirty, and comfortable.Overall, I would give hibachi grill buffet a 3.5/5 stars, borderline 4, or a 7/10 in a ten scale. Hibachi Grill and Buffet is a great place to go to casually, and depending on your taste buds, some of the food may be a hit or miss for you - but there is DEFINITELY good food here.ALSO: the Hibachi station may seem closed, but you just need to ask to get something fried.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, have high chairs

The food was disgusting I expected the dessert to be good but it was so bad, my whole family left half the food in the plates because it was so bad, there’s barely any good options to choose from, the only good food was the watermelon and the orange chicken, I do not recommend coming here for any sort of thing, I came here 4 years ago and it tasted wayy better, I was excited to come again after COVID but I was very disappointed, the food was very stale, they have to put some sort of music or more lights it’s so dark! There was barely any food in the trays, there was a marshmallow dessert but it tasted SO BAD it’s like they put some sort of sauce into it, after I ate some of the food my stomach got a weird feeling, in conclusion the food was bad and sort of stale, I don’t recommend coming here.

Haven't been here since Covid hit, food is still good as I remember! Price of lunch buffet is way up along with everything else. Shrimp is good, noodles are great along with many other dishes on buffet!

Senior lunch is not $8.95 as advertised on here but $12.95. Not much to select from. An entire bar is empty and others only 1/2 stocked. Disappointed on all counts.Parking: Only a sign from parking lot view not from windoe
