This Indian-style diner serves a variety of dishes from the southern part of India. I’ve visited this place almost half a dozen times and have enjoyed the mastan keema pulav and tandoori pomfret fish. The chicken biriyani is decent, but the mutton pieces in the mutton biriyani are more chewy, like old goat meat. The pulav has a stronger flavor of MGM. If I’m not mistaken, my suggestion to the restaurant is to use less MGM in the palabs. The air conditioners aren’t working...
The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. We arrived at 1:50 PM, just 25 minutes before closing, but they welcomed us without hesitation after I called ahead. Heavy rain delayed our departure, and even after closing time, they let us stay and kindly helped us with WiFi. The food was amazing — the pomfret fish was my favorite. Exceptional service and a great meal!
I’m not a biriyani guy but this place not only makes it enjoyable for me, but they exceed most dishes at other restaurants. They have fantastic butter chicken, dosas, and mutton curries. On the weekends their thali is also fantastic.
As an ABCD, this place is my go-to for Indian cuisine.
