La Catrina Michoacana

The ladies that work there are very nice and give good customer service. Their food is amazing and very affordable.

The chicharrones I got for my baby were stale. My yogurt tasted like it had gone bad. Gave me a stomach ache right away, didn’t even finish it threw both away, the plain and strawberry yogurts we got. I wouldn’t shop here. I was inside the mall and saw one on the third floor. Won’t ever be stopping there again. Didn’t even want to go back to argue with anyone about the money they can keep it.

Not sure what happened, this place no longer looks like in the pictures and the quality and selection went down from advertised and from photos

Roula, her hubby, two sons, Gerald and I stopped by at La Catrina Michoacana at the Aurora Mall for some ice cream for the first time together and it was such a delightful treat. The coconut was delicious, with creamy textures and rich tastes that hit the spot perfectly.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy some sweet treats with loved ones. Watching Roula’s sons light up with excitement over their ice cream made the moment even more special.

If you’re at the Aurora Mall and craving something sweet, I highly recommend stopping by La Catrina Michoacana. It’s the perfect little spot for a tasty break while shopping!

This has the BEST mangonada in Chicago area/suburbs!!! The tamarindo stick is delicious and the chamoy sauce and chili powder are of great taste, which is usually hard to find in the US. I would say that this one has genuine Mexican flavors. You can choose mango or strawberry.
The ice cream flavors are also of great taste.
The place is very small and simple. There are not tables to sit. Staff are friendly, speak both English and Spanish. Prices very affordable and good quality for the price.

Not big on bubblegum ice cream - but they had THEE BEST BUBBLEGUM ICE CREAM I'VE EVER HAD! Yogurt was solid - wish the yogurt was a bit thicker, but the fruit included tasted real fresh. Looking forward to trying out their elotes
