Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

I love Lou’s, almost too much. I order it way too often. The last couple of times we’ve had it though, it has tasted different. I think they’ve switched sausage vendors and it’s a serious downgrade 😞

The rating is so high based on my combined experience over the last 2+ years, ordering from this specific location.

I always order a veggie, deep dish personal pizza, and have over the years. Sometimes I’d come everyday, other times, a few days, or 1 day, out the week.

Anyway, I always get my pizza with an extra 5 minutes so my crust won’t be soggy from the vegetables. My pizza has always been “perfect,” even with the extra 5 minutes.

Up until about 2 weeks ago, I’ve been getting over cooked pizza; hard crust, dark cheese, etc. The time before last, the crust was practically a thin crust and not a deep dish; unacceptable.

I called to let the manager know I’m a frequent customer and the last few times, my pizza has been overcooked, when this hasn’t been an issue over the past few years I’ve been coming. She told me the next pizza would be on them / free.

I placed my order about 3 days ago, came in, wasn’t greeted properly. My pizza was slid to me over the counter, instead of handed to me like any professional establishment would / should do.

Also, there was something slimy on the brim of my pizza, and a few “cloth like” pieces throughout my pizza, on the crust part.

Not only is it unfortunate to have such an awful experience, but when I order, I’m either on my lunch break, or getting off work.

I work long hours and don’t want to have to worry about a burnt, lifeless, “tainted” pizza with anything slimy on it. I just want to have a good pizza, enjoy my day, and come back soon.

I don’t care for their pizza but that is a personal preference. Still 5 stars. Salad is awesome.

I have been ordering Malnatis for over 20 years.
Second time in a few weeks ordering from this location. They recently decided to only apply half of the tomato sauce on their deep dish pizzas. Their deep dish pizzas look nothing like in the photos because of this, and they have permanently lost my business until they remedy this.
Store did nothing to fix the matter when i called and asked for me to drive the pizza back to the restaurant, which is unreasonable.
If the GM of this restaurant would like to reach out to my google email, im all ears.

Racism, worst store.👎🏻 No proper response from employee's

Pizza is good been buying there for two month 3x a month. Yesterday, the delivery guy left my Pizza on my porch in 25° weather didn't even ring the doorbell. My wife delivery text said it was going to be delivered in 10 more minutes. If it wasn't for my wife walking over to the door to unlock it and look outside it would've been cold as it was getting there.

Nancy P. was so kind and sweet to me when I stopped by. It was my first time trying deep dish and she went above and beyond for me and answered all of my questions without hesitation. She even left a nice little note on my receipt. It was really sweet and thoughtful of her. Thank you, Nancy! <3 (P.S. I did enjoy the pizza!!)

New to the area and got two pizzas. Personal Mikes Hot Honey and Medium Peperoni. Great overall experience with the workers, accurate time for order ahead, and perfectly cooked Pizzas. 5 stars across the board!! We will be back!
