Our first experience at a Japanese restaurant was at Momoya, and we're thrilled that we made that choice. We initially ordered some rolls without realizing they contained raw fish, but the lady kindly offered us some alternatives for our first try. We ended up enjoying Godzilla and Dynamite b rolls, and we were surprised by how much we loved them - we almost finished the entire roll of 12 pieces each! We loved the pickled ginger too!! 😋We're definitely going back there again!!

We've been going here for years. Definitely our spot. The ginger dressing is drinkable, the garlic shrimp are fire, sushi is yummy, and tempura nice, light and crispy. The waitress always remembers our orders and takes care of every detail, crazy good memory and so nice.

The sashimi pieces are broken when served... duck is good The waiter did know how to open a bottle!?? He left and said i will ask my manager to open it. Atmosphere is good. Like to dine outside

I have been coming to Momoya for 20 years now! Every single time I get the same 5-Star quality fresh food and wonderful service. My absolute favorite roles are the Crunch Roll and the Spicy Scallop, which they don’t have at many sushi places. I also love the egg shrimp appetizer. I would love to see a bigger space for Momoya. That way I could have larger parties and entertain here, as well as have a little bit trendier of a vibe, but I have no complaints. I will always be a loyal customer!

A very unassuming place. But they serve some of the best Japanese food in the area, along with having some of the friendliest staff around. Nice place for lunch, first date or an evening out with friends…hours are limited, but very much worth trying

After 8 years spent on the West Coast this was the first sushi restaurant in the greater Chicago area that I went to because it was close and since then I went to other similar places from high end to small family restaurants nobody ever beaten them. The sushi are genuine and tasty and always fresh.
