I went into Paulies for my first time and they opened late ,, the person that opened dailies seemed to be the owner he was trying but the opening late was not a good look maybe a new opening bartender that showed up on time can help. Also can someone explain to me why this is the only place I have been to that charges a VILLAGE TAX ,, what is that????? It looks like the cheap owner just wants to pass the credit card charges on to the consumers,, bad business and business with no class do that.

We love Paulies! It's a great neighborhood bar with friendly staff and good food! We stopped in for lunch today on the way to the airport and the owner was here and super friendly, taking orders and running food.

Will not come back. We were here for an event. The service was pathetic. The server could only perform one task at a time: Missing fork? Run to get a fork. Need napkin? Run to get a napkin. Missing part of the entrée? Run back to the kitchen. No multitasking with this server. Some in the group gave up, and went to the bar for another beer.The food is pub grub. Nothing better. I had the fish and chips. It was good. Unfortunately, the server couldn’t even tell me how many pieces of fish there were with the entrée.

My mom had taken work colleagues here, and the server decided to add her own tip in on the receipt and cross out what my mom gave her. Very bad, she had to call and get it fixed because she sends in all the receipts to corporate. SMH why do people do this?

I ordered this on uber eats and the food is amazing, great service they put into it you can really tell. They kept the toppings of the burger on the side, and put a lot of effort into the meal.

I have done 4 business lunches, and this is the only place that has had my food and everything on time. Not only that, but Alaya was patient, reliable and considerate. It was a big order and the staff also helped me to my car to make sure my items were damaged. I appreciate this place so much!

They are currently under new ownership. When I went in there with a friend to watch a college football game their wine selection was very small, as in two wines to pick from. Everything else seemed to be OK.

Used to be better. New owners took over months ago, yet the menu has not been updated. Though, we are charged different prices than what is on the menu. I used to love the tacos! Not so much anymore. The servers and staff are great!

First time there. BLT and Reuben were both very good. Fries and coleslaw for sides also good. Waitress was pleasant and efficient.

Should have went with with my initial reaction, the place was empty at noon during a Bears preseason game. Food took forever and I wish it never came. I had the jalapeno bacon chicken sandwich, greasy but otherwise dry served on a cheap bun that looked like it was made from two bottoms. My wife had the BBQ chicken pizza, burnt crust but the cheese was hardly melted. The flavor was off, she ate one piece and felt sick we took the remainder home I reheated it the next day had two pieces and it made me sick. My daughter had a chicken bruschetta sandwich and she only ate 1/4 of it, so I know she did not enjoy. We were very disappointed.
