What an amazing place to get a snack and a drink! **SCOTT** Scott is the best, honest and personable guy you can ever meet. The nachos are a great snack. I love the cheese sauce on them. It is a huge platter of chips, cheese and veggies. Have I mentioned Scott? Haha yes I did. He is awesome. See my pic. We had a very lively conversation and he helped us with our drink options. Jamie the manager was also very awesome and gave us great service. I have never been so impressed. Lovely and passionate folks that work here. I will happily frequent other locations of this corporation as long as they have Jamie and Scott working there.

We came to the Hollywood Casino in Aurora to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Around 2pm we got hungry enough to stop eating for a bit and come to The Penalty Box for some chicken wings! The restaurant is very clean and relaxing. Lots of televisions too.We went to the bar and asked if we seat ourselves... the bartender called the waitress over and she sat us right away. The menu has lots of great food options... pizza... tacos... salads... sandwiches and even desserts. We ordered 20 wings. 10 mild and 10 garlic parmesan. With a side of blue cheese for dipping. (Posted a video, not sure if it will show up on our review but you should be able to find it when searching images) The mild wings were really yummy! They were very flavorful! The garlic parmesan sauce was not my favorite... kind of blah and did not taste like there was any parmesan in the sauce... however the chicken wings were still cooked to perfect. Juicy chicken with a crispy coating.. the wings also were trimmed nicely.. no cartilage or gummy pieces.I would definitely dine here again! Our waitress kept checking in on us and gave us refills and she was very kind and loved her service with a smile!

You know, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from a casino bar-type restaurant but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I want to say they might be new management or ownership but I could be wrong about that. The food was actually pretty good. I really like the beer battered onion rings in particular - nice crunch, not overly battered, and came with a tasty dipping sauce. The quesadilla was good too, very cheesy! One note would be that the burger drowned in the oversized bun but other than that, not bad at all for a convenient bite while at the casino.
