This is a great little place if you don't want to spend big. Maybe all one needs is a taco snack between meals. It's close to the library so If I am spending my day working at the library, this place works for me, for a little money. It exhausts me to need sustenance to tide me over and I have to spend close to $20.00 to get that. One can get a quick bite to eat here for under $5.00. a lot of places don't offer that without being a side of fries. I always enjoy my meal when I come here. I try to order big so I can take stuff home. Last night I couldn't decide. They told me about bistec ranchero. $22.00. enough for two people. I had the remainder for breakfast this morning. They have two that was pointed out to me, but the other one is more spicey. No. I don't want that. Once the spice hits me, I'm through. I just need to stick to that. There is nothing wrong with this place. It is small, but I would hate if they were to move somewhere bigger. When my son and his family come to town, this is one of the restaurants we go to. They can not get authentic Mexican food where they live. His wife, my daughter in law, always orders something with shrimp and it is always delicious. She always offers me a taste. Ochetta, beer. Come on! This place is for families. I always feel at home here.

The nachos from here are tasty; I would go here again. I ordered take-out as it's not really a dine-in type of atmosphere but the food is good.
Edit: returned 7 months later to try their steak burrito and pork tacos. In my opinion, those items was just average and didn't receive a lot of food in proportion to the money spent.
In both visits, I called ahead for pick-up order and the service was very quick with no mistakes. Service is exceptional.

Excellent food. The variety of salsa they give you is outstanding. The staff was pleasant. I intend to make this a regular place to go eat.
Literally just walked out after waiting 20 for service… the waitress watched us walk in sit down at one of the many dirty tables and kept walking 2 other groups walked in while we waited and they got they’re tables cleaned and menus dropped off and nothing so when the third group walked in and we saw the waitress walk to grab menus and head they’re way we got up and walked out the lady at the juice bar saw us and so did the other one at the register and nothing

Ordered some Asada and the Chorizo tacos. The asada was seasoned and cooked nicely, but terrible cut of meat. Kept pulling out piece of cartilage. The chorizo was okay but was dry.
Meat ratio was okay, but they barely put any cilantro or onions on the tacos. Saving grace was the salsa rojo and salsa verde, both were tasty with a good amount of heat.
Price is about average.
Overall it’s decent, but there’s better.
