Great value and phenomenal food. Will be back any chance I get. Just down the street from the roundhouse, an excellent place to stop before moving on for beers. You can taste the care that goes into the food and their homemade salsas leave you wanting to drink them empty. Must try if looking for quality Mexican food in the area.

Nice place but overpriced with small potions. This place is very clean and the service was quick and polite. Unfortunately I had a burrito with maybe 4 ounces of meat in it and my wife had extremely bland Chilaquiles even the rice was like water and salt. We have eaten at dozens of places over the decades and would not advise this place. It was over 34 dollars for the two of us plus tip to pretty much leave hungry. Jaliscos on lake st is still my vote as the best place in Aurora for Mexican cuisine affordable prices and nice flavored portions.

I live in Lisle and I come all the way out to Aurora to eat here because it’s the only true authentic Mexican restaurant somewhat close to me. Salsa is good, tortillas are amazing. Tacos were amazing. Rice and beans were delicious. Prices are fair. If you’re in the Lisle/Naperville area don’t even bother going to this fake “authentic” restaurants around there and make the drive here to Tecalitlan. Best authentic Mexican food in the western suburbs. Like I mean truly authentic, I haven’t been in a place like this since I lived in Cicero. Reminds me of being a kid and going out to eat with my grandma.Parking: Street parking, might have to walk a block or two but we went on a Sunday at 4pm and there was plenty of street parking nearby.

This is the second time I've been here in about a year.I only order .I was looking for a place to go for after going to 26th st El Milagro in Chicago. Milagro has been skimping on quality for me & I don't live near there so I gave this place a try.I like the tamales.The horchata was a little sweet but nothing a little ice couldn't fix.The owner/cashier was welcoming & I'm not mad about it.The pricing is a little high but you know, inflation.
