I have been going to this place since it opened a couple years back. I pick-up and order drive-thru, but mostly pick-up through the app. The service and quality are top-notch, especially since most items on the menu are made on the spot after you order. With 20 years of experience in restaurants (serving and management) I can confidently say that this place is as good as it gets for a quick meal around here. Clean and healthy (especially if you get “no turbinado” sugar in ur smoothie). I work around the corner with 75 others and have never heard a bad thing about this location. If anything, on a couple occasions, if there was a mistake, they listened and MORE than took care of the issue. They must do a great job hiring/interviewing because all the workers are friendly and hard-working. It takes a team to be consistent and have good output in a place like this…Tropical Smoothie Aurora off Butterfield has definitely proven themselves to me…i hope they continue on like this for years to come 💪🤝✌️

I always enjoy visiting this location. The food and smoothies are delicious and always made without any issues. Amy is an awesome employee and makes visits here very enjoyable with her positive attitude and helpfulness. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis!
The folks at the Aurora location are amazing and always help me with suggestions and doing whatever it takes to make me happy. I recently ordered food for our entire 11 person Team at work and everyone was thrilled!

I love going to this Tropical Smoothie location. I get a smoothie from here just about everyday that I am working from home. I order ahead on the app and about the time whoever picks up the order gets there, the smoothie is ready and delicious. Staff is always hustling to provide great service and make many orders as fast as they come in.

I ordered a banana mama to go 15 minutes ago and cannot eat it, they premade them and freeze them, so I am hungry but can’t eat it because the base sooo cold that is hard as a rock. I understand you want to save time, but this is ridiculous.

I ordered a Bahama Bowl for the first time, with no Chia and i payed for extra strawberries. I’m not sure whoever made it didn’t know what to do but it was HORRIBLE. Firstly the whole bowl came completely frozen solid and suck to the napkins that were in the paper bag. Secondly they didn’t add the coconut flakes even though they were already included in the bowl itself. Thirdly i got barely any strawberries, at most there were at least 5 in the entire bowl. I asked someone I knew who used to work at this location and showed them a picture and they even said that it looked horrible for how frozen it was and how they didn’t even care to make the order correctly. Save your money.
No one greets you walking in or when walking up to pay they just stare at you until I have to say hi first because it’s such an awkward feeling. People have lost their manners it’s sad. Food is ok. People here have poor attitude.

Do not go to this location!!! Save yourself gas, money, and time!! The staff is terrible!! I ordered online for pickup and they took 1 hr and 30 mins to give me my smoothie and food!! My smoothie did not look how it usually comes. It looked as if they put rotten fruit in it. It tasted disgusting. The food was cold. The staff was terrible they were pretending they didn’t see that everyone was standing there angry waiting for their orders. They were a mess. Staff is unorganized they make the smoothies but not the food. The manager has a lot of work to do at this location. They need to have an order so food+smoothie is made at the same time..Also if I order for pickup if the food is ready put it in the cube where people expect to pick it up… this staff had the ready smoothies sitting on the other side of the counter. I don’t know if they expect the customer to go around the counter and look for their drink…. So I wasted money and time and I didn’t get a refund and the smoothie and food ended up the garbage as it was terrible….I love tropical cafe, but such a terrible experience at this location so now I have to drive 15 min further down the road to the tropical cafe on Orchard Rd. That location did their job correctly and staff is friendly.

Paid $9 for an açaí smoothie that tasted like grit. Not well blended so it wasn’t a smoothie. No large cups so they put the smoothie in two small cups. SMH! Who does that!
