Breakfast food definitely not worth price. Almost $150 for 7 people. Ordered 2 eggs on side & was $6. I can got 3 dozen eggs for that price. Complete rip off. Portion sizes were small compared to most breakfast places. Expensive everywhere but at least you get bigger portions at other places. For the price we paid & quality & amount of food that we got, this is last time we will be eating here.

It actually should have been 1 start as I walked in barely was greeted the people who were standing in front were to busy talking. It looked nice at first glance but things changed quickly when I started looking around from the little bugs that were flying around our table and into our good to a man moping the floor and you can smell the strong smell of Fabuloso while trying to eat. Can’t forget the burning smell from the kitchen that was so strong it was burning your eyes. The food wasn’t all that blend with not much flavor something you wouldn’t take home because you had to have it later. It’s a hard NO for me

This dining experience was marked by inefficiency, poor quality control, and evident managerial shortcomings.

The wait time was unreasonably long and entirely uncommunicated, creating the impression that customer orders are not handled with any sense of urgency or accountability. When the food was eventually served, it contained visible insects, a matter that is wholly unacceptable and indicative of serious lapses in sanitation and oversight. This alone was sufficient to terminate the meal.

Beyond this, the food itself was markedly substandard. The eggs were severely underseasoned, the coffee lacked both strength and character, and overall preparation suggested minimal attention to detail. The operation appeared disorganized, with staff seeming stressed, poorly informed, and uncertain — reflecting a broader failure of internal communication and management practices.

In summary, this establishment falls well below basic expectations for cleanliness, service, and professionalism. One star is awarded solely because the food was ultimately delivered.

We choose this restaurant for breakfast while passing through the area. When we pulled in I thought the whole devolvpment it was in was pretty interesting and unique!

Upon entering were were greeted and given a table right away. We enjoyed the option of eating outside on a nice morning! After sitting for awhile someone came by and dropped of a water carafe and glasses. The person just set it down and left. Didn't make eye contact or even talk to us. It felt cold and distant. He even just placed the glasses upside down on the table which kinda grossed me out. I didn't know how clean that table was and if I wanted to drink from a cup that was touching it. When picking up the glasses they were pretty worn with lots of scratches. One still had moisture in it further making me question the cleanliness.

Then we just sat for quite awhile. Many people were around but no one came to talk to us and at least even take a drink order. I wondered if we had been forgotten. Finally a gal came by she took our drinks and food orders. It took a long time to get our coffees after that. Then just after we got our coffee the food came. It would have been nice to have our coffees well ahead of that not with our food.

The food itself was good overall. Not bad nor anything to right home about. Just a decent meal. The presentation was done well so that helped the experience.

Using the restrooms I found them to be nice a clean! There was even a fun message on the wall!

Overall though the service soured the experience. If I was local I wouldn't go back based on that. It could be a great place based on the location, atmosphere and food. However they really need to step up on the hospitality and customer service. An important saying in the restaurant industry applies here: Good service can make up for bad food, but good food can't make up for bad service. When paying for the dining experience good service is essential!

Too loud. Food ok. Super dry pancakes. They were nice about accommodating my 84 year old father with specific requests.

Looking for a place to eat after a event. Found this place. Honestly bathrooms were super clean but most food portions were small. Silverware and cups were dirty. Booths seats you could feel springs coming through and all syrup cups were chipped and damaged. Honestly wouldn't come back server was nice

We just dined at Eggspresso in Bannockburn, IL for Easter. We had reservations and requested no stairs to get handicapped person to the table in a wheelchair. There was two steps to the table. They offered to switch us to another table but would need to wait so we managed to get our handicapped person up two steps to the table. Food was slightly warm when it got to the table. The skillet potatoes seemed freezer burned and grainy. One of our meals of hashed browns had A BED BUG on it!!!! 😳😱 The waitress took the plate, apologized and gave a fresh plate of hash browns and did not charge for one meal. Needless to say we won’t be back there ever.

We went for Easter breakfast today. We had a reservation for 12 people. We noted on the reservation one person in a wheelchair and handicapped so needed easy access to the table. When we arrived we were set up for a table that would need to go up two steps to get to it. They offered to move our table but we would need to wait. We ended up getting our family member up the stairs and then getting the wheelchair up for them to sit in. The food was slightly warm when it arrived. The potatoes in the skillet seemed freezer burned and grainy. One of our hash browns had A BED BUG in it! We told the waitress, she removed the plate, apologized, gave a new plate of hash browns and did not charge us for one meal on our bill. The noise level was VERY loud. Needless to say we will not be back and were disappointed & disgusted.
