The food here is just not worth it. Of course the staff is friendly but McDonald's food is just not what it once was which is really saying something. This restaurant felt under staffed for dinner hours. My burgers were luke warm and thrown together with the cheese still cold. Fries, while hot on this visit, were completely over salted and unedible after eating just a few. The overall experience here is just not worth the price they charge. This is the third time I've been disappointed out of McDonald's. It's the last straw. There are much better options out there. You're better off going into Heinen's next door or just down the road to Mariano's to get something from their prepared food section. Your gut will thank you.

They don’t even speak English here. 13 Mins waiting on an order they screwed up. then they brought the managers who also don’t speak English. I’m still waiting for my refund because I’m already at 15 minutes. Kind of crazy. I did nothing wrong besides order.
Whoever is making an order should definitely understand and speak English and communicate with customers correctly. Order number 26, 1210 2025 1:04 PM.
The worst part that gave me an attitude and they’re angry at me all four ladies. What the hell! Like I don’t speak English and like I messed up the order it’s simple two digit order number get it right and don’t blame customers

Horrible Breakfast Sandwich! Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was dry, egg and cheese both very cold and the bacon was one thin strip. Nothing like the description as advertised:

Attempted to addressed with the store through a variety of methods, including the customer care team which promised a prompt callback from the store owner / general manager, yet no response back!! Very poor customer service!

I was there about 330pm on October 22. I went through the drive- up. Ordered an unsweetened tea with lemonade. I received more lemonade than tea. Both ladies at the windows had an attitude that lacked the customer service that I'm used too at a McDonald's. I will be reaching out to corporate.
this staff is just horrible this would be the 3rd bad expirence where they make you pay and then not even have your order ready but make you wait over 5 minutes on your single order by pulling forward not knowing that you are on your break or lunch what is the drive through even a drive thru? and then they don't even express any kind of empathy or try even to make things right this whole morning staff is ridiculous

Here we go again. Their drive thru is dysfunctional. They tell you to move to the next window only to forget about you. This is the second time in about three weeks that this has happened to me. Last Friday evening they left us waiting for our order for almost ten minutes We watched and waited as cars passed us by at the window. Even when there were no more customers in the drive thru, we were still left waiting. Eventually, my passenger, who is also my neighbor, went to knock on the drive thru window to remind the employees that we were still waiting for our food. As we suspected, they forgot about us. Here we go again. I don’t believe they really respect the people in our community, because if they did, this wouldn’t keep happening. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only customer experiencing this kind of neglect. Even after alerting the people at the window, we still had to wait a couple more minutes. Finally the manager, Jaqueline, handed us our food and disengaged from the window without a care. She blamed it on our chicken strips. Ten minutes for chicken strips? And another couple minutes for…what? She didn’t want to hear our complaint. She didn’t want to be there. She closed the window and went on her way. Bannockburn, Highland Park, and Lake Forest residents deserve better service. My question is does the owner of this franchise even care enough about our community to address these issues with his staff? Does he/she care enough to fix these problems and start treating the locals with respect? Time will tell.

I do not usually leave reviews, but what I saw the other day was so dreadful, that I had to leave one. I was visiting the McDonald's in Bannockburn at dinner time with my children when I witnessed a manager completely disrespect an older woman for no other reason than he just didn't want to deal with her cold food complaint. What I found really disturbing was that when she ordered something else from him, the aggitated manager crinkled up her receipt and tossed it to her. That was so disrespectful. Even my children commented on how rude he was to her. I will not be going to that restaurant anymore, because if this is how they treat customers in the front, who knows what they're doing to our food in the back.
