Arriba Mexican Grill - Barrington

We went to try Arriba for the first time and was really happy we checked them out. They have a great menu including traditional and fusion tacos, great appetizers, and some traditional entrees. They also have a solid drinks menu. We ordered a few appetizers, steak dinner, and a fish entree. I was impressed by the meal, I don't think we ordered anything that we didn't enjoy. Again, food is very very good. I lived in Arizona and have been looking for more flavorful, original Mexican to Texmex places and this is it. Odd hours but the food gets high marks on its own. Tucked away and hidden but a great place once you find it.

We had a great experience dining as a couple at Arriba. Food and drinks were outstanding. The tacos are authentic and high end. Margaritas are excellent (and strong). Service was quick, friendly, and helpful.It's a pretty casual atmosphere, so probably good for everything from a date to a happy hour, and good for families too. Nicer food quality and presentation than you would find at a typical Mexican restaurant. Strongly recommend!
