Nice egg & breakfast spot - although they do offer sandwiches and more lunchy options if you prefer. Cash & credit card payments accepted.
Good selection of breakfast dishes as well as lunch. They have a good variety - omelettes, skillets, hash, even shakshuka! Fresh-baked breads accompany most menu items. I opted for the shakshuka. Veggies weren't as large as they have been other places I ordered this, so it was more like a marinara base. Three eggs perfectly poached in the middle of it, and accompanied by two slices of sourdough along with house-made jam. I asked the waitress to have the chefs mix in some habenero chilis with the tomato base and the result was a very noticeable and enjoyable heat!
Serving sizes are generous, and the food is good and fresh tasting. I'd come back again.

Service was great. Quality of food used to be much better. Food was served cold. Overpriced for the amount of food they serve

We love Egg Harbor for the food, the service and the pleasant, bright interior. But please!! Bring back your Jump Start coffee!! 😋 That has always been one of the draws for me and I was so disappointed to hear it was not available any longer due to not having Kerry Gold butter or Coconut Oil. 😲😦
Great food. Service a little slow but not bad. Prices are comparable to other restaurants like this.

Safe to say based on the photo, the iced matcha latte was good. Wish it was more matcha-y, but was good nonetheless! Highly recommend the lobster scrambler too, it's rich but not too rich ?

Absolutely loved my brunch experience at Egg Harbor Cafe! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and inviting. Their coffee was excellent, and I couldn't get enough of the caprese avocado toast. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a delicious brunch in a warm and welcoming setting.

This place has really gone downhill! I used to eat here weekly and it was managed correctly, but now it's brutal. I specifically asked for my eggs to be soft and they were burnt. The server did nothing for it and the incompetant manager never came over. So I ended up eating it because I was hungry. After about 15 minutes the server came back with a 10% discount....Seriously a disappointment, I didn't need your 10% off. I wanted my eggs cooked correctly. We spent over $100 there and drove down from Cary. You can tell that the management is really dropped the ball, just in the turnover rate of the servers. We won't be going back, Brunch Cafe is better in Fox River Grove. This used to be our go-to for a special treat but now we'll just go to Benedict's in Crystal Lake. Before I wrote this review I gave them the opportunity to make it right because I filled out the survey and filed my complaint with toast when I paid, but nobody reached out. I don't think they care about their customers at all. They should definitely learn how to cook eggs the right way being called Egg Harbor cafe. I'm not in a hurry I just want my eggs cooked correctly, and they should be cooked low and slow.

We recently visited this charming spot and were blown away by the quality of both the food and service. Our experience began with a cup of coffee that arrived in the most amazing coffee cups. Not only was the presentation delightful, but the coffee itself was rich, smooth, and exactly what we needed to kickstart our morning.
For breakfast, we ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was simply fantastic. The perfectly poached eggs were accompanied by crispy, golden-brown potatoes that added the right amount of texture to the dish. Next up was the Veggie Skillet Garden Scrambler, a fresh and flavorful combination of vegetables cooked to perfection. Each bite was packed with garden-fresh taste and seasoned just right, making it an excellent option for vegetarians like us.
To top it all off, we indulged in the Blackberry and Banana Pancakes, and they were heavenly. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and paired wonderfully with the fresh blackberries and bananas. It was the perfect mix of sweet and tart, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our meal.
Overall, the entire breakfast experience was superb. The attention to detail in the food presentation, combined with the cozy ambiance and friendly staff, made our visit memorable. If you're looking for a place that offers a diverse menu and great vegetarian options, this is it. We will definitely be coming back.
